Vien Dong Hotel  

I find the staffs of Vien Dong Hotel are courteous and friendly. I am impressed by the counter staffs which exercise some flexibility by allowing me to check-out at extended hour - 2.00 p.m. so that I could arrange my last customer visiting before leaving Ho Chi Minh City. Thank you very much for all your assistance.

The location is very convience. The facility of the room is also good. The attitude of hotel employee is friendly.

The location ncan not be better, make sure you get a Park view room.

None, except the night staff tend to fall asleep and you have to wake them up to get anything.

The staff were very helpfully and the location was fantastic for new years eve we were directly opposite the park with all the celebrations taking place. Would highly recommend for location

The location of this hotel is excellent and within walking distance of many of Saigon's attractions. The very cosmopolitan and high energy "Backpacker street" is also just around the corner. Most rooms look out on the central Park across from Ben Thang market.

We arrived at 06h00 in the morning with an overnight train from Hanoi and had to pay a full day's fee (the hotel fee and not the discounted Booking.com fee!) for the five hours until book in. We were exhausted and had to pay it. The rooms were smaller than expected and the bell boy tends to negotiate fees with taxis without your consent resulting in unnecessary costs. The western section of the breakfast buffet is quite limited. Mass aerobics in the park across the street can be on the load side, but then this is hcmc.

helpful and english speaking staff. good location, comfortable rooms (living in the suite on the 8th floor with balcony). good restaurant in the hotel. if the windows facing the street - noisy, but its normal to Saigon city. in ATM at ground floor - a terrible rate (dollar/VND and rubles/VND)

Very convenient n spacious room

Positives - price, comfortable and well furnished rooms, fairly good breakfast spread, location - 3-4 km from all maj attractions/eating and shopping

1. Staff could be more friendly. Language was a borderline issue..could just about communicate. 2. Rigid Check out policy - I sought an extention of two hours which was cut down to one hour even though there were rooms lying vacant. 3. Breakfast Room could do with some change in decor and some brightening up. 4. No swimming pool, spa

It's a very good value for money stay. In a location with many eateries/pubs. Will definitely return.

The deluxe suite is excellent, in term of design, comfort and layout. Feel very comfortable and with good foods within the vicinities. Has a good park in front so that given the opportunity to exercise with the locals. I will sure to select Viet Dong Hotel for my next trip.

Nice clean hotel , Friendly Staffs , Specious room (913) in addition to Free Internet facility trhat one can read and respond to one incoming E-mails , it is also close to the city center and various tourist attractions . The fact that it within easy access to shops restaurants etc..etc makes it even more comfortable and convinient . Generally the entire hotel is in my very clean and safe. Overall a very good Hotel and it is wrth the money . Good work Vien Dong .

Good value for money, spacious suite, in the city center, resolving payment issue correctly

Busy neighborhood, double charging credit cards, first, before arrival as opposed to the booking.com's policy and second, upon checking out, no manager on duty at the front desk, hotel staff has difficulty to communicate in english
