spacious room good location

-poor noise insulation -hotel holder doubled moto renting price because of vietanamese holiday. but another 4 star hotel we've stayed didn't do this.

Could not ask for more. The hotel was very very clean. Lovely bed and shower. The staff were so nice and friendly.

Stairs!!

Very good service, they speak english. We Made a Great tour to the mountainpeople on motorbike. The guide from the hotel was wonderfull and funny.

We had to close the Windows during the night. We like fresh air.

Just about everything! The shower was particularly awesome, so much pressure, not easy to find in the budget hotels in Vietnam.

Nowhere near enough to eat for breakfast, just one baguette with a few different choices of topping.

Fantastic value for money. Brilliant view overlooking town from our 4th floor window. Friendly welcome. Room spotless, shower great, nice decor, not far to town.

Long trek up the stairs to the 4th floor but . Breakfast is banana, a baguette and a coffee but the whole thing is only £6 a night each so who cares.

Cleanliness Comfortable Quiet Very convenient location - just 5 min. away from Dalat Market and center of city Good transport arrangement for site seeing - car and motor bike (paid service) service available at hotel.

No provision of complimentary water, coffee etc. I stayed 2 nights. But bed covers were replaced only on the first day. Complimentary tooth brush and tooth paste provided only once in spite of 2 nights stay. Not much items in breakfast - mostly you will get noodles, bread - butter - jam, some juices, coffee etc.

A clean, friendly, family run hotel a short walk from the city center, much quieter than downtown. Our room was good sized with a balcony.The lobby area has an amazing carved wooden furniture and sculpture collection, and a very pleasant breakfast room. They have a lovely garden with many bonsai. Obviously the family takes great pride in their property, and as guests we enjoyed it. They also offered good suggestions for sightseeing and restaurants.

The room wasn't cleaned for the 3 days we were there and the sheets/towels smelt damp to begin with. One of the days our towels smelt so bad we hung them outside, then it rained... Breakfast wasn't great, but it was the same as you receive everywhere else in Vietnam. The area was quite noisy. People outside in the courtyard during the day and a bloody cockerel that didn't realise 3am is not time to get up! There were also dogs and cats fighting throughout the night. Our room was in a particularly bad location, right next to the stairs on the first floor, we had noise at 4am and again at midnight, we could hear everything from reception/the lobby. Not good. There is no air con or fan, although Dalat is cooler than other places in Vietnam, it still gets up to about 30 during the day. Not nice to arrive to that heat in the room. No toiletries in the bathroom, which is very unusual for Vietnam. No bathtub either. It seems quite common a bathtub is listed but isn't there, maybe they mean a sink?? Location is OK, but there are plenty of hotels for the same price/cheaper nearer the lake or tourist central area. We went here as we thought it may be quiet (away from the beeping) but it wasn't.

The staff were very helpful and made sure we had a map and could get around. They did not push for tours.

We got locked on our room, couldn't dial reception, my sister climbed over balcony to open go through another room to open our door. They did fix it quickly. Internet connection not great

Staff were welcoming & helpful. Rooms were clean and great views of the mountains & farmland. Lovely cool temperatures a relief from the heat of Saigon. Exceptional 'secret' tour was worth the trip for sure!

Beds a bit hard, and breakfast a bit scarce in terms of selection, but great value for money.

For the price of the rooms they should provide a proper breakfast. They are giving banana and bread.

This hotel is the best I did in the past month. The staff is really nice, helpful. The room are great for a good price. Organize a special tour by motorbike. Real pleasure to stay in this familial business.

I liked the hospitality of the staff. Nobody was intrusive offering tours or anything else. They respected my No-s and helped me when I asked for it. The young staff were ready and able to answer my questions about typical fruit etc.

Since I travel alone I sent an email to the hotel asking how safe it would be to wait in Dalat bus station for some hours during the night. I did not receive any answer within 24 hrs and had to leave a little worried about it. Internet connection in the room did not work properly.

The people managing the hostel are very very friendly and speak great English. I highly recommend taking the 1 day tour with them, we had a great time. The place is clean and 5 min walk from the central market.

Good location.

We had a huge room with a balcony. Staff very friendly and helpful. Disappointed we didn't have time to do the secret tour, but enjoyed much of Da lat by foot.

Breakfast was a bit limited and shower was of the "soak the whole bathroom" variety. But only minor issues.

The tour with Rod is a bit expensive but an absolute highlight if you like to know more about Vietnamese people. I wouldn't miss it. Make sure you stay at the Villa and not in one of the other hotels around.

Don't go to one of the other hotels if they offer this. I'm now talking about the Binh Yen Hotel: Dont go there, if you have booked the Villa Pinkhouse This is a disappointing place. The room has the absolute basic. The bath was mouldy, window not functional, not all lights working and so on. The staff was creepy and even the breakfast one of the worsted in 3 weeks tour. This room wasn't worth the 17$.

This is a great place to stay - excellent value for money really helpful English speaking staff and in a good location. Hotel and rooms are all in excellent condition and very homely.
