The house was big and had a nice garden. The receptionist was sweet and always willing to help.
Beds were not comfortable, very hard. Hostel had lack of personality, quite boring and a bit away from the main area. But bikes were rented quite cheap to move around
Highly comfortable stay in luxurous villa just outside of hectic little town Hoi An, very friendly family with personal approach. I stayed in the most comfortable dormroom i've ever slept in, breakfast was even included! I would highly recommend villa Riverview to other travellers looking for a comfortable stay near the center!
Very sweet owners!! Very helpful and you feel as home! It is close to the old city enter and you can rent bikes for 1 $ /day! We stayed here for 6 days and it was amazing,
Very helpful staff, wifi, good breakfast, food.
Location - farther from the center. Cleanness - clean hotel but we had dirty bedding - it seemed like they use it twice (for previous guests)
The hotel is very beautiful! Bathrooms are weird, there are share bathroom and privets that were a bathroom inside the room!! But everything is nice and confortable. The Owner recomend us very well and is an amazing cooker!! Best choise was to go to her mother restorant one block from the hotel, we were crazy with her cook...
The cleaning was basic.
Our host nga was especially helpful and very friendly. Excellent cook as well, the beef noodle breakfast was lovely and she emailed us the recipe when we got home. Thanks nga! Ours is not the same but we will carry on trying. We stayed in 2 different rooms. The second one was the best, balcony facing the front. We would recommend this place to anyone staying in hoi an for a few days. We hired a scooter through the hotel which helped get us around. It's a walk of around 20 mins to the ancient town.
First room we stayed in was a bit too dark, but we were out all day so it didn't matter.
Great place. Quiet but close to centre. Very nice staff, friendly, helpfull.
Bathroom could be cleaner
Everything! Very good location - quiet but close to the old center. Nice family hotel, big clean well decorated rooms. The owners are so friendly and helpful. They helped us to organize our three day vacation and get the most of it. Wonderfull traditional breakfast, they even cooked for us when we arrived in the middle of the night. If you want to experience real Vietnam off the beaten track that's the place to stay.
-nice garden -the owner's restaurant offers great food
-noisy (room was close to the road) -really small room -staff tried to cheat us and tried to charge for services we did not take; it was just a few dollars, so no big deal but still anoying
Location was great, a little bit set back from the main stretch but a perfect walking distance there. Can also hire bicycles.
Our room had the shower and toilet in the same room as the bed. As i was with a friend it could have crossed some serious boundaries, luckily there was a spare bathroom in the hallway.
Friendly and helpful staff.
The room was not clean when we arrived, WC/shower room was not cleanm either - we had to ask for it to be cleaned again, also had to ask for new towels. The hotel is 20 minutes walk from Hoi an old city, though if one rents a bike this is not a problem at all.
The house is special. It has a garden around the house. You can experience the local cuture. The boss family are very warm. When I asked for hot water, the boss then boiled water immediately and sent to our room. They also prepared breakfast especially for us though we get up late. You'll feel like at home.
Facilities need to be upgraded. Bathroom is not an independant room. There is not curtain inside the balcony door. Electricity was off once. Only one plug receptacle in our room.
Every is perfect~
I have found The service at this small family run hotel to be above and beyond the call of duty , they went out of their way to save me money. And ferry me about at no extra cost .I'm not sure how many stars this hotel has , it is clean , secure, well presented , close to amenities and I recieved seven star service.. Joe
that I couldn't stay for another month
beautiful villa, friendly staff, great location between the city and beach
It´s too pricey for what it´s been offered. Breakfast was not good, just an omelette with bread and tea. The excursions offered by the hotel are very overcharged. We took an excursion from one of the owner´s relatives (according to her) and we were charged at least 3 times the real price, so they keep a high commission. Each participant in the excursion had paid a different price for it and we were the ones who overpaid the most. The laundry service is not good, as they returned our laundry stinking. In the booking reservation does not state that we needed to share the bathroom, there was no clear information. The villa is very new and clean but quite far from the main attractions (30 mins walk). It´s definitely not a good value for money and I wouldn not recommend it. I am sure there are nearer accommodation options in Hoi An with much better prices
Friendly family. Big room. They give all facilities (taxi at the airport, rent bycicle, excursions,...).
It's 1'5km far froom the city center but you can go by foot. It's not a problem really!
It is in between of Hoi An and the beach. It is quite area except for when there is KTV time around.. Don't know how it was before but apparently there are some party places around. Music stops around 11 or so.
Firstly the lady(I think the owner of the house) is poorly informative. Whenever we ask for some information, her answer will always direct to some tours or so. Of course there is nothing wrong with offering tours but when it is accompanied with very little information, it is just simply NOT helpful. We have taken one morning tour to Mai Son which was the worst. In the city it is around USD10 per person without bargaining. She offered us for USD30 because we can get the car from our hotel and she will prepare breakfast and so on.(which is also included with other tours) we thought we can be nice to her and accept the offer. Her breakfast was the worst bread and weird jam we've ever had. We didn't have tour guide which was included in other tours. In conclusion, it was just not good to get tour from her. Just find a hotel somewhere close to Hoi An and never stay here. Not Worthy.
