Villa Song Saigon  

We liked the location away from the hustle and bustle of District one Saigon. The ease by which it can be accessed by the complimentary Speed Boat provided by the hotel . The quality and variety of the restaurant menu; The beautiful furnishings and general ambience of the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff who were all immaculately dressed at all times. We were met at the Airport by a taxi transfer arranged for us by the Hotel, on arrival we were greeted by a member of staff who held an umbrella over us to shelter us from the rain as we entered and then we were given a glass of refreshing juice.The receptionist booked a tour for us to the Cu Chi tunnels and we were picked up at our hotel by speedboat. I have to compliment the staff , every member was kind courteous, extremely helpful and each and every one had a genuine cheery greeting. The check in /out process was very quick and efficient.

Really a nice and quiet place to relax after a long day in town or when you are back from a sightseeing tour.

Unfortunately everything was under construction (the spa and the rooms) and it was quite busy and noisy during the day :-( !!! So the price was quite high for these circumstances.

Nice and cosy hotel with a helpful staff. Great place to stay in Saigon for those who want to escape the hassle of a big city while remaining less than 20mn away from the very center. The pool is perfect, the rooms nicely decorated.

Food (breakfast and lunch) could/should improve at the Italian restaurant.

Great pools, very good location - only 15 minutes from town but very quiet

Thai Dien Village was an excellent place to start our family travels in Vietnam. My children loved it as an intro into the country, we stayed because of the pool, and my partner and I loved the chance to enjoy luxury and relaxation after a long flight from the UK. We returned for a final visit after all our adventures. The perfect entry and exit point to Saigon.

even helemaal weg van het Ho Chi Minh City gedoe? Op een kwartiertje stroomopwaarts varen aan de Saigon River ligt een op-en-top buitenverblijf, Villa Song Saigon. Uitzicht over de rivier en groen, lekker rustig, voorzien van alle voorzieningen en faciliteiten, lekker eten en een Spa zoals een Spa hoort te zijn. Prima de luxe. Ga er zeker nog een keer heen om tussendoor te ontspannen wanneer ik voor werk weer in Ho Chi Minh City moet zijn.

Tout a été impécable. Les chambres, les salles à manger, les lieux communs sont très jolies, propres et confortables. Le personnel est d'une gentillesse et d'une efficacité remarquables. L'hôtel se situe à proximité de Hoi An, et une navette gratuite y va plusieures fois par jour. Un taxi coûte environ $4.

Seul critique, mais qui est le cas dans tous les hôtels de la région: il est difficile de régler la clim dans la chambre. Si on la laisse plus d'une heure, même en mettant la température assez haut, il fait trop froid. Mais quand on l'éteint, il fait trop chaud.

La situation de l'hotel, son charme, le personnel trés éfficace, le spa trés relaxant, la navette qui nous dépose gratuitement en plein centre ville.

L'éloignement de l'hotel par rapport à la ville (7km), mais c'est le prix à payer pour la tranquillité. Le restaurant vietnamien de l'hôtel trés inégal d'un soir sur l'autre.

This hotel is not in the city center but it's so good to get out of the noisy Hochi. The pool is big, 25m and so quiet. The italian restaurant is one of the best in Hochi. Also, in the Thao Dien area you have some good restaurants. The spa is nice, there's yoga lesson you can attend.

The rooms are nice but a little small. The worst worst is about the curtains. They are transparent. As the sun is coming at 5am. It's so bad. I asked them to change them but I d'ont know if they will.
