Relaxed atmosphere, small resort, quiet, staff really helpfuland friendly. As we experienced an earthquake (small) while we were there I would have liked to have just known about any plans for where to go for evacuation if there had been a resultant surge. I know not everyone would worry about this but my family and I also experienced eartquakes in Christchurch and an evacuation for a storm surge in Fiji 2011 and I am a little nervous and would just feel more comfortable if I had known beforehand where to go and what to do. I realise it is a fine line, not to put something in the compendium for example for fear of frightening people, but due to our experience I felt a little nervous.

Good size resort, not too large. Location was very pretty, staff were very friendly. Location is pretty but a bit difficult to get around, hotel has a bus service but is only "free" to go into town at 10am each day and return at 4.30pm. Hotel provides you with a mobile phone so you can call for the bus earlier which we did and we also used the service to go out in the evening to visit other resorts/hotels and restaurants so we ended up spending quite a lot on "transport" which we hadn't envisaged. Housekeeping was a bit unpredictable but once the problems were addressed they were quickly sorted out.
