All staff were lovely but if you request something (other than food) expect it to be on island time :) we had our 15 month old with us and it's a kids friendly hotel
The depth of the pool was hard stand up in, no deep and shallow end just a step so if your short like me (160cm) expect to tred water. Also very hard when you have a child in the water and there is no pool toys.
Loved the size of the room. Staff were exceptional.
No safety around the pool area so it was very difficult to sit down and enjoy a meal with small children. Also no high chairs.
No help on arrival, staff very blaze. For two young travellers there was nothing to do at night, we were the only ones there all week! Food shocking and a 15 min walk to town.
Friendly staff, very clean rooms, restaurant has great food and service. Will stay again .
When booking for a room at Beach Front you will certainly appreciate the size and of living room (small TV but you don’t get to Vanuatu for this do you ?), rustic but nice kitchen where you can eat with the family... great! When arriving you will see that all of this is real and you can enjoy it if you are ready to share the sofa and the five seats kitchen with the other 30 or 40 guests… Beach Front website just forget to mention that all these facilities are shared with all the guests, if you miss the YMCA that the place to be. Thus there is not even a chair or table in most of the rooms and you end-up at the restaurant with 6 or 8 people in conference calls with their family or business. Thinking of an internet connection from your bed, forget it, unlike what is mentioned on the website 2/3 of the rooms don’t have wifi access. The best spot for Wifi connection remain on the grass among the coconut trees, nice if you got a water proof equipment when raining or if you can put your device with a screen contrast of 250% when it’s sunny. Going with children? Bring some kind of games because besides the pool this beautiful area of grass and trees has not a single equipment for them. By the way the pool has no kids area to mess-up in 30cm of water, they better know how to swim… or they will learn. A positive point is the food, certainly the best compromise value for money in the area, except for breakfast. You will be served with ½ a cup of coffee and you can ask refill, no problem you get charge for it. At first you wonder why some guests come for breakfast with their own jam… until you try to spread the generous coffee spoon of jam on your 2 daily piece of bread. Next day you do like other guests you bring your own jam and buy some instant coffee for your own refill. In short the Beach Front has a great website to fool you, and an even greater potential in terms of development. The kind of place to be monitored and the day it goes for bankruptcy consider to...
It was near the water. Staff were friendly - but wait staff needed training/how long should it take to serve a continental breakfast? Food was Australian prices and quite good . Steve at reception did shift us (noisy and view of car park) after the first night, to a nice quiet cheaper dorm room which was nice, Very clean rooms,
No facilities or activities; we did manage to carry the kayaks to the water - quite a distance . Staff were not proactive. Not a lot of advice forthcoming about what to do. The room price was Australian price - no shampoo or conditioner.
the excellent position - also quiet situation. Staff very helpful, food very good.
Mostly everything. The chef was amazing!!
The last morning I had to bathe my baby and the hot water had been cut off because the resort is eco friendly. I am all for helping the environment but I think it would have been nice if the staff had of allowed my hot water to run so I could have bathed my baby. They did provide me with a kettle, however the sink was too small to bathe the baby.
