air conditioning in rooms , too much condensation build up and slippery floors Food in restaurant has slipped back to a barely acceptable level.

The air conditioning was very good, it could be adjusted very low to make the room very comfort. The breakfast area good and also good food. There was lots of staff on duty did not have to wait to be attended to. The bed was large and the room was a good size I did really enjoy my stay

Great Views and friendly staff. Great to have 24 hour check in and a transfer from the airport as I arrived at 2.00am. I have to say the air conditioning was a lifesaver!

Hotel is in a great location.food,shopping,boats to other islands&tour booking offices at your doorstep.Staff are super friendly,a yummy hot breaky included follwed by a dip in the pool with amazing views of the other islands & a beautiful massage & body scrub made this place amazing!

This being my 2nd stay I had an idea of what to expect.Everything was of a very high standard except for a bread plate we ordered on the tapas menu. However they happily changed it for something else on the menu which was delicious.

the costing, i found a better price on the internet and your company said it would price match and when we paid it when we were leaving, we paid the first price. Not the price that was cheaper. We questioned the costing and the man said that is the cost . we paid and then left. not happy.

The staff were exceptional. Always smiling and superbly helpful. They were a breath of fresh air.

The front ramp and stairs should have safety strips placed on them as when they are wet they are incredibly dangerous and slippery when out by the pool it would be nice if staff came out and offered drinks snacks etc, as the pool bar was always closed

We stayed at The Grand because it was close to the town for business, and suited the reasons we were in Port Vila for.

There was a Tsunami warning whilst we were there and the hotel management failed to inform any guests of the warning. I had heard it on the local radio and thought the management should have taken steps for guests safety by informing everyone to higher rooms. !!!! Further the tariff was quoted to us in Australian dollars and the hotel conversion rate to local currency was converted to their favour along with charging a 3% credit card payment.

What a orsum Hotel to stay at, very friendly, very clean, great restaurant, also orsum swimming pool, we had our little grand daughter 4yrs with us and she just luved it, was a really relaxing holiday and great 50th Birthday treat for my partner. We will definetly be going back to stay. AAA+++

It's aging and needs a bit facelift. It's grubby on the awnings and needs a general cleanup.

Most members of the staff were OK others were extremely rude. Training and skills in customer service badly required. very much favored the locals especially in the Hemisphere bar

The Grand hotel and casino was wonderful. We stayed for 2 weeks on our honeymoon and we mentioned this in our email reservation and the staff was kind enough to add a bottle of champagne and flowers to our room. All the staff were very friendly and professional. The continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise. we did not expect to see so much food (including an omelet station). Food and drinks at the hotel restaurant was surprisingly reasonable compared to other restaurants in the area. I'm sure there are finer hotels in the world but whatever The Grand hotel and casino lacked they definitely made up for with hospitality and incredibly friendly staff. The only place i have been to where the room lived up to the pictures on their website. free internet was included. It's in a great area, close to the market and the grocery store. This is where people from Hawai'i go for their honeymoon. tips eat at the market for lunch, its cheaper and filling and the food is good if you dont mind street vendor type food, make friends with the cooks they are nice do a round the island tour with korin, her tour shop is closest to the grocery store make friends with the locals they are incredibly nice and will help you out

Loved the service from every staff member. They were so lovely and friendly and you certainly felt like they were there just for you. From the reception staff, the housekeeping, casino, bar and tour info staff, they all deserve a gold star for customer service.

Loved the breakfast each morning and the pastries / crossiants were to die for. We ate three main dinners in the resturant and although it was nice, it wasnt a little disappointing. Apart from that....LOVED this hotel!!

It is situated on the waterfront close to the village centre with fantastic sea views and good outdoor facilities.

We asked when we booked for 2 rooms together (4 people) and for airport transfer. When we located the Hotel staff at the airport we were told that transfers had not been arranged for us but could be done for 2500 V each but that we would be better to take a taxi as it was 1500 V for all of us. The rooms were on seperate floors. It took over 30 minutes to check out as accommodation hadn't been charged on one room and the clerk didnt know how to fix it. At check out the hotel added an unauthorised charge of 250 V to our account as a school donation. This was unable to be removed. It was very disappointing that the Hotel could not attend to such basic requests and when it was mentioned to them were quite indifferent.

Méconnaissance complète du dossier de réservation dès l'arrivée jusqu'au départ. Voulait nous faire payer 98 000 vatu, alors que notre réservation précisait 589 $a pour 3 nuits ! Il a fallu longtemps négocier. Ne savait que la réservation était en 1/2 pension. Petit déjeuner pas à la hauteur, viennoiseries congelées et pas cuites. Ne pas reserver en 1/2 pension
