The view and the location
The people at Iririki were fantastic The location easy to get around Lovely pools and places to swim and snorkel. Easy access to mainland, very convenient ferry times. Restaurants were good.
I think that the whole place needs a good revamp the rooms are cosy BUT ...the bed needs new mattress the ceiling fan doesn't work properly the ac unit sounds like a truck the bathroom needs re tiling with an exhaust fan so you don't have to leave the windows open for every one to see in The meals where good but not up to the standard that the resort likes to tell you.
We liked the most is the location, fairy service, swimming pool service, better accommodation and best customer service.
Nothing, all is best, excellent all the way through.
The staff were friendly and our ocean view room that I upgraded to was very nice.
The swimming pools were dirty and not maintained and the value of special services like new year eve and your malanesian night and other specials were over priced. Also the fact that the surcharge on my final bill of approx 8,500 VT because I used AMEX was rediculous.
Central location if seeing Port Vila is your aim, getting to and from the island was easy. The staff were wonderfully friendly. Great breakfast and massage! Well suited to family holidays but we enjoyed it as a couple too.
The lanyard, room key and room number pack that was required to buy food and drinks was a little bulky to carry around. Not a show stopper at all.
Facilities, location ,staff ,food ,service. Very relaxing and enjoyable the colours of the water were amazing and the fire dance show was spectacular
location and snorkling bay
bed was little too old
Everyone was so friendly and Vanuatu was just beautiful didn't get to see everything I will have to go back there again
The service, the staff were great. Even though we are getting on in years facilities were all accessible. Really enjoyed are stay even though it was only a few nights. Hopefully we will be back next year.
We did find for pensioners drinks and food a bit expensive but we did enjoy the quality.
the location was good, close to town and all facilities with a great boat service operating 24/7. Great massage service and good food.
I didn't like that there were boats mooring quite close to the island which for me means that the water can get somewhat polluted
The location scenery
service very slow dirty room needs updating/fixing too expensive for what it offers
Gorgeous views from the apartments. Book all meals & drinks to your account. Pay on departure. Staff very accommodating. Cleaners very efficient.
great food and views from the pool
our fare on the waterfront overlooking Port vila harbour was way too noisy- a lot of out board motor noise from the nearby jetty
the staff were good the location was good, the free kayaks, catamarans and the snorkeling was good
in my opinion the resort is not a four star resort, the rooms need a lot of updating, they were not cleaned to Australian standards. They need to spend more money on maintenance.
easy access to and from island staff really friendly and reception very helpful for arranging a driver to tour island & other activities. great food & evening events
Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good. Despite the negative comments below our overall experience was positive and we had a lovely holiday.
There was often a strong smell of fire smoke. Not sure of its origin but it was most unpleasant. Our fare was clean but decor a little tired. Mould on the fabric blinds.
My stay at Iririki was a fabulous one and I would definitely go back and recommend it to others. The staff are amazing, super friendly and really look after you send the facilities on the island are really quality. I stayed in a garden bure and it was great. I've heard since that they are updating these. My room had a beautiful big wooden four poster bed that you had to step up to (the decor was a little old But still really good and I had no complaints) I'm sure with the refurbishments they will be amazing.
I really enjoyed my stay and the only thing I didn't like was having to leave!!
The location was perfect, the service impeccable. Not too fancy schmancy, more cultural. Loved it.
The environment, gardens and facilities were fabulous. Great Food and service. Everything was readily accessible and provided with a smile.
Having to leave ...
Very good boat service to and from port vila to other restaurants/cafés and shops and access to other day trips Excellent view from apartment Snorkelling equipment sterilised and in good condition, free kayaking Food at Bali hai poolside area excellent value and innovative meals
No water to our apartment last afternoon and evening, did not come on until early morning
Island feeling, nice staff, slow paced, great views.
- Bad food at restaurants We booked the Penthouse and was left very disappointed in the room. Very run down, dirty, definitely not a penthouse level accommodation. Bed sheets were smelly, bathrooms were old, the room stunk and a tiny queen bed - not even a king bed for $750 a night? Breakfast buffet was bland, we paid for breakfast off the island everyday. Free breakfast was a waste, the seafood platter in the Michener's restaurant was shocking for $120, seafood not fresh. Generally, speaking the staff were beautiful, most helpful, kind and caring.
The location was excellent - able to get in & out of town very easily at all hours. Food was good at Micheners and also the Balcony dinner - this was beautifully presented with great service.Breakfast buffet was expansive and Amos made the best eggs!
The fare was a little dated & tired - loose tiles in the bathroom & mouldy grout. The screen door to the balcony had to be opened with force.
The view of the ocean. The snorkelling and kayaking. The food.
the friendly and helpful staff. the food was excellent, particularly in Mincheners
the maintenance of the unit. The toilet cistern was not properly secured to the wall. It took two days for a blown light globe to be replaced
Exquisite location Friendly staff Great pools
