Clean Not expensive
Wi-Fi does not work in the rooms Water is not hot often Noise if you have a room close to the road
location close to the airport
there was a cockroach in our room, the building is run-down, very low value for money
price was good for an overnight stay location - walking distance to the town supermarket and fresh food market nearby helpful staff
Location n convenient to transport. Wifi if more faster as it is.
Noise from other guest - early morning vehicle noise
Location on main bus route from airport , easy to get to even with bags. Clean and spacious room, nothing fancy but adequate Easy 15 min walk to town and a few minutes from supermarkets and a fresh food market
Nothing to complain about, it was value for money and suited me for an overnight stay
Good and comfortable room, Nice staff, fridge and small coffee area. Cheap
Cold shower and location - quite far from city centre (40min walk or bus for 150VT)
It was the cheapest option in Port Vila. Location not very central but 15min walk to the town centre. Staff was very helpful, lent me their phone and called us a taxi. Reception open 24/7. Very good value for money overall if you're not picky and are looking for the cheapest room in town.
Room was dirty and it didn't look like the sheets had been changed. There were a lot of ants both in the bedroom and the bathroom.
Rooms cleaned every day & closeness to Vila.
Noise at night from other guests
Helpfull staff and close proximity to airport and buses to town etc.
Down in dungeon, no wi fi, room not servviced and kitchen limited to electric jug.
The location was convenient for our purposes.
The neighbours at the Kava joint over the fence who played loud music one night until 2:00am. We had to get up at 3:45am to catch our plane!
The hotel staffs were very friendly, soft spoken and very helpful
The Wi-Fi very slow
The best staff! Gave us usefull information about everything we asked, arranged transport to Nguna island, let us leave our bags for couple of days although we didn't stay there.
Red ants collonies in rooms, but they are everywhere in island. If you can't stand ants, cockroaches, spiders, geckos or rats don't go to Vanuatu!:-)
Very friendly staff, nice room for up to 3 people. Suited me well for the one night I stayed.
All. Very pretty garden. Lovely staff.
staff are very helpful.
It was a cheap room, good for a stop over, nearby to supermarkets. The staff were helpful.
The front counter staff only spoke French and didn't speak English, so we couldn't really understand each other. The EFTPOS machine wasn't working and I wasn't informed of this before I checked in.
Room was clean and great value for money. Close to the airport and a good stop over while awaiting another flight.
The staff that we had on check in were not very helpful. We had to ask several times for electricity to the room, for the air conditioner remote. When we asked for recommendation for dinner we were told there is nothing close and we had come the wrong time of year to see anything good. On check out the staff member made no attempt to try and use the efpos facility demanding that we paid cash, more then we were supposed to be charged for the room as his conversion was completely incorrect.
friendly staff, room with bathroom
bedbugs, quite expensive for what you get
Very comfortable set-up, including laundry facilities, TV (only three or four channels), table, friendly staff, and free wifi which works reasonably well. There's a shop right outside the motel (Tebakor Shopping Centre). A good place to meet other young travellers. Harbour View Chinese restaurant is just a couple of blocks towards town and serves great food (with a view!), and the Lookout is a 10-15 min walk towards town, serving Thai food.
I left with bug bites - perhaps the ants in the room or bed bugs? It's a little far out of the center of town (15-20 min walk), but you can hail any local buses which only cost 150VT pp max in to town. Other guests can be a bit noisy at night or in the morning and this can be heard from the rooms.
Price is reasonable. A ride away to town, convinient store at reach, common kitchen where you can cook your food is a bonus. Very friendly filipino staffs and locals staffs too.
I think the staffs should ask customers their room preference like would they like to be upstairs or on the ground floor etc.
