excellent staff and service is always with a smile
Room was spacious, good selection of movies, friendliness of staff, food was nice, prompt service from bar staff. Had fun in whitesands casino.
Waited for over an hour for luggage to be brought to room (there were no other guests). The woman at manaia spa was unprofessional and gossiping on the phone about us and other guests and organising discounts not knowing we understood what she was saying. Distance of room from main area.
Staff were very helpful, polite and really wanted us to have a good time
The price of the accommodation is too high. If they want more people to stay, they need to make it more reasonable.
location - near airport pool area and garden Coffee good
Gym, broken down old rusty, non-air-conditioned. Bedding - too heavy and uncomfortable. Tiling in bathroom - very tacky and unfinished No artwork in rooms Lighting in bathroom poor. Reception staff muddled reservations.
Under-trained staff. Poor air conditioning. Cheap toiletries and limited selections for breakfast for an expensive 4 or 5 star hotel.
Great place to relax, staff were friendly without being in your face.
We found the food was not up to a four star resort. Local Samoan dishes were great but the rest of the menu was below standard.
Comfortable, relax, good restaurant.
This must also be the most expensive hotel in Samoa. :-) The location, or I would say the scenary is not as perfect as the equipmets.
Staff was not as friendly as in other hotels on Samoa. We had worms coming into our room during night.
The pool area is lovely. Happy hours were great value. Good breakfast included in price. Pool bar staff were extremely nice.
Rooms very shabby, ants in bathroom daily & other bugs. Room safe very small - didn't fit ipad. In room movies were extremely poor quality- scratched & illegible. Place lacked warmth & hospitality of other resorts I have stayed at. So isolated From all attractions - ok for airport, turtles feeding & savai'i ferry. So spread out. Pool towels extremely thin & worn & often not there. No guest facilities eg games, books, cards etc if the weather is not so flash.
Proximity to the airport pool
food cleanliness room standard not value for money compared to other places in Samoa
The location near the airport is very convenient.
Mostly over rated. Priced too high for the standard of accommodation.
Gorgeous pool! It's a shame we only stayed a night so we missed out on swimming up to the pool bar. The breakfast buffet is sooo good. Again, it's a shame we didn't stay longer. Our room was oceanview and it was breathtaking. The room itself is standard though.
I guess the price is "premium" but you do get what you pay for.
Close to airport and friendly service
next door to airport for early morning flights. Early morning staff were excellent and helpful. Discovery rental cars Ella was wonderful and very accommodating with our rental requests.
Daytime female wait staff surly and HATE having to serve.Lack of information of where restaurants are, (japanese Rest - moved to another building on the golf course?? we could have had breakfast provided at 4.am? but was not told even after asking. Some staff are just not interested in promoting what they have and viewed the traveller as a problem. Yet others were welcoming and aimed to please. two different groups of people in hotel. 1 group locals the other from city - surly.
The pool area was great
It will be good to see the refurbishment
Everything it was beautiful ... Staff are very friendly .... Food was so good..
Being right on the beach was fantastic, the free massage was wonderful. Such a beautiful spot. The choice of menu's was incredible. A really great place to stay and relax.
Long way out of town, can get a little noisy being so close to the airport. Shuttle bus to airport not reliable.
Great beach, great hotel and all facilities
Too many children and noisy
