The location was fantastic. It was close enough to the center of town but also far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The staff were wonderful, very courteous and attentive. Our accommodation was perfect, it had all the comforts of home with the most comfortable beds! Would recommend this as a place to stay, especially for families and couples. We will definitely be staying there again!
Nothing! Cant wait to go back!!
The photos on their website.
The villas are opposite the bar and restaurant which meant non-stop music banging into our room from morning to night even with room doors and windows closed up. I asked them to stop but every few hours it got cranked up again. On Polynesian Show night, the sound was deafening and our evening (we didn't attend the show) was nightmarish. No comfortable place to sit in the living area. A very old and uncomfortable sofa, and a few uncomfortable stools. This place was not cheap! A month later I'm still waiting for return of the US$200 security deposit for the car we rented from them.
We stayed in Suite 3, where we were so amazed by how spacious the rooms were. Place is cleaned daily which was great coming back from a long day out and about. Rooms have air conditioning which is always needed while in Samoa. The new swimming pools are beautiful! The resort is very private and surrounded with beautiful lush plants/trees. Great place to stay for families.
quiet and peaceful natural surrounding cool breeze all round restful and comfortable
Travelled with our family of 3 generations and for most, this was their first visit to the homeland to see where their grandfather and great grandfather was buried in his birth village Savai'i Lano. We were met at the airport by Sauni who was a wealth of knowledge, friendliness and a great example of superb customer service. Organising Le Vai water for the group, hiring a van onsite and pre booking the van onto the ferry were achieved on the first day - thanks to Terence and Loretta. The new infinity pool was popular with our family and a place of solace for the kids each night. The 2 bedroom apartments with 2 kingsize beds in each room were ideal for our family and the cooking in the unit kitchens was an extra bonus. Along with the hotel, the local store was another hidden gem that had a good selection of NZ and Australian food. we enjoyed our holiday and are already planning our next visit
Nice big apartment great for families. Kitchen to cook. Big swimming pool which is brand new, also had a little kids pool Az we'll. the fia fia night was the real highlight as you get a real taste of Samoan culture and food. Clean rooms, new towels everyday. Cheap rentals. There big boss was great.
We told staff about a big leak in our room. The lady at reception didn't do anything about it. I told her the leak had wet all my suitcase and clothes and if I could have some tokens to dry it, she still charged me $20 tala to dry it. Just need work on customer service
The price fits well with location and accomodation, if they keep it at that rate I'm sure they will make great business and attract more visitors, staff were awesome as well as the food. I would definitely recommend it, keep up the awesome work guys, pleasant stay!
Don't change the value, need a car to get to and from everywhere! Other then that Seki!
New-ish facilities and away from town.
No hot water for 3 nights and rooms not serviced all weekend. Hard beds with mattress cushioning supplied last night of our stay. One staff opened the door and walked in without knocking!!!! Charges excessive for low period and hotel with only 4 rooms occupied. I will be a nice place to stay when they know that its a resort and not a back yard bush operation.
The hotel was immaculate. I've stayed in many South Pacific hotels, and most tend to lack in the cleanliness area. This one is spotless. The pool is gorgeous, as is the view from the hotel down towards town.
The hotel is a long way from Apia which means you really have to have a car. Construction was occurring during our stay so the hotel was noisy; the groundsmen were spraying for bugs pretty much on top of us while we were at the pool. The beds are basically just a board with a sheet over it - hard on older bones. The restaurant was adequate at best; the food was expensive for what it was. The cost turned out to be more than we'd expected for the hotel (I don't think all taxes are included in the quoted price that you get beforehand); for the price we paid we could have stayed at one of the beachfront resorts.
Renovators starting work early in the morning
I was visiting Samoa with a group of friends as part of a volunteering teaching project at a local village school. I arrived by myself at 11am but, check in was at 1pm. Loretta the receptionist served me was lovely to have offered me a separate room (I think it was a standard room) while I freshened up and had a nap before my suite was ready. I also had an amazing stay with the rest of my friends, the rooms were very clean, plenty of cups/plates/pans for a stay of four/five people in a suite. Stayed for 2 weeks and while we were teaching at schools, we came back to our rooms being cleaned, towels replaced and beds all made every afternoon. We booked Fia Fia night twice as their performance at the hotel was exceptional :) Tana, Selau, Terry, Loretta were wonderful hosts and made our stay even more enjoyable with their excellent hospitality. It definitely felt like being home away from home. Terry and his family also made a tremendous effort to personally escort us to the taxi at 3:30 am in the morning. The girls and I are already planning our next trip!
The only thing that could have been improved was the bar menu (considering it was quite pricey and most of the time they did not have them available) and would have loved more traditional food options for the restaurant..
Friendly staff. The villa was well equipped and spacious.
We ate there one night and all our meals were almost in edible . The walls between the villa's were obviously very thin as we could hear every word of the people next door.
One of the closer accommodation options to Faleolo Airport if you are coming in later at night. Provided a shuttle service at a good price. Nice & clean rooms. Very helpful and friendly staff. They even rang the car rental company the next morning for me. Answered all my questions and made you feel comfortable & welcome. Bar and dining area by the pool was pleasant. We enjoyed our breakfast.
I wouldn't want to stay there for a length of time only because we would want to be closer to the sea. However if I did, a rental car would be the best option so you could venture out as often and far as you like.
The bus shuttle was great value for money and the driver was very helpful. The owner's son took us himself early morning to Savaii ferry to give his driver a rest due to night duties. I thought it showed care for his staff. Hope to stay longer next time. They also looked after my suitcase that I didnt want to take to Savaii with me. Very caring staff who go extra mile for customers.
Walls a bit thin- could hear next door people talking and snoring through night. Felt sorry for them when my kids made a lot of noise next morning.
The staff were lovely. They were very helpful and made us feel very comfortable. It was only a short taxi ride to Apia and we were also able to rent a car directly from Samoa Tradition Resort which made it very easy to get around and explore the island. Traveling with children (ages 7 and 8) was very easy in Samoa and they had a fantastic time. We spent the first 2 nights and the final night at Samoa Tradition Resort and spent the middle 3 nights in beach side fales. This worked really well for us as we were able to clean up and have a good nights sleep before heading home. We love Samoa and think the people are the friendliest we have ever met :)
We would have liked to try some traditional Samoan meals at the restaurant.
Liked the air conditioning. Very friendly staff. Fia fia night was excellent.
No steps in to the pool. Hard when you're larger and old. No chef on Saturday night and staff didn't know.
You should tell us if there is reunion at the same time we book in cause from the day we arrive 13/01/2014 we got lock in our suite we didnt get to use the swiming pool and the bar cause it was taken ova from whole time that we were there , to me and my family i dont think we will b stayin ther again
the rooms so nice and clean, especially like to thank Terrance and his team, he made us feel comfortable and helped us with some issues we had. Thanks again terrance didnt get to say goodbye and thank you for your patience with us.
Very friendly staff. Spacious accommodation. It's about 5km from Apia downtown. Apia highlights are mostly outside the CBD such as the Palolo Deep Marine Reserve and the Gliding Rocks. Great coffee/lunch and decor: the Home Cafe. Great food and decor: Giordano's.
Unlike any other business in Samoa we had dealings with, this resort quotes their prices for such extra's as car rental, airport transfer and the restaurant excl. GST (15%). Make sure you have them quote the full price so you know what you'll be paying.
