Loved our euro fale with ensuite...even hot water. We actually enjoyed everything and the breakfast of freshly sliced fruit and pancakes was delicious. Staff were great especially Megan, the co manager.

    Not great snorkelling.

We stayed in one of the Euro villas - very comfortable - outstanding aspect right overlooking the lagoon

The owner has let maintenance slip. The staff need more training - particularly in regard to the menu. The menu had a lot of items that were not available, however we were not advised of these and the "chef" just substituted chips for missing vegetables!

Hi, the location, the beach, the layout, the staff. Wife,Christine,& I just spent 3 weeks doing Upolo & Savaii , Stevensons was our first taste of luxury, a real bed, and onsuite ,right on the beach. Dereck the new manager, with ozzie girl , Megan , 2IC , very helpfull , doing their best ,against some infrasture issues, all in all, would spend more time at Stevensons and that area than Upolo . Sadly we found Samoa, not good value, even though the economy and wages are 1/10th of Australia, we paid Australian prices , the average wage is less than a hundred dollas a week , this is not replected in charges, some body is making serious money.?

generally not good value for budget conscious australians. we found the same weather ,beaches, & accommodation, half the price in our Phillipine trip last year . however we were made feel welcome, and soaked up the culture experience.

The willingness of staff who went an extra mile in making sure our stay was memorable. The setting is magical especially the sunset. Our stay will begin another tradition and this is brothers and sisters coming together to re-visit the stories of our parents.

Pacific representation of culture in the compound designs and structure, the dressing of western comfort with cultural hospitality, and nature's eloquence in the colorful garden, scenery and the cool evening breeze.

My husband and I really enjoyed the staff at the resort. They saw to our needs and comforts and were always ready to greet us with a smile. We loved sitting and chatting around the beach bar after dinner The staff were helpful and told of us of great paces to go and see. We are sorry to leave!!!

Everything was wonderful, and as much as we enjoyed swimming in the ocean which was only a couple of steps from our room, we really would have enjoyed a pool too.

Location was superb. A wonderful restful holiday, 10steps from the beautiful clear waters of the lagoon. Great snorkelling in warm water. Food was delicious. A gem in the South Pacific. Staff so wonderfully friendly.

Only fault would be the need for kayaks to be more accessible as part of your room rate. No doubt paddle boards will be included in the future.

The beach is gorgeous for swimming in the clear and shallow waters.

The staff was not very friendly nor ready to help with any enquiries. The location: 1 hour drive from the ferry.

The staff were lovely. The location was great. They resolved a problem we had with our room by upgrading us.

The whole place was very tired. I don't think it was particularly good value for money. The meals were inconsistent varying from very bad to good. Being upgraded to the best standard room was appreciated but even the best rooms were designed quite strangely. The showers were constructed of rock walls and floor. A bit unpleasant cleanliness wise. We also had a bar (as in drinking) at the end of our bed.

A beautiful place with great new responsive management. The included kayaks were great. The fales are a brilliant way to experience a traditional style fale but with the comfort of your own ensuite and fridge. A great private beach and beautiful back drop. A great beach side bar. Fantastic sunsets, very good safe snorkeling with great fish. The rustic/volcanic rock ensuite was fun. Sitting on the balcony and hopping almost directly into the beach. My tip is arrive with lots of your own snacks, chips, nuts, duty free drinks and mixers to chill on the balcony.

A minor issue but more variety for included breakfast, to include Cereals (gf options), musli, yogurt toast and more fruit and vegetables. If you are there for a week or more the standard breakfast can be tiring and very limited if gulten free. Can get a good omelette though. The great beach side bar should remain open or reopen after dinner.

The Breakfast was great Value, i was expecting fresh fish but it was from the packet and also Customer Service was very poor. A young Australian Promotion Manager was there the next morning with not a great customer service, i thought she would learn from living in Brisbane that customer service if a big part of welcoming Guest and making them feel welcome but she wasn't that friendly herself, she even add up our meals and package wrongly, the Fale's a Great but had all the dirt from the fetch leaves dropping everywhere in the bathroom. also going down for a swim is a mission to walk down and up for a swim.

Hotel management need to educate their Staff about friendliness, customer service and welcoming their Guests. Food needs to be of local fish not from the packet and also need to add taro in their menu, drinking coconuts available for Guests and fixed a walkway down to the Beach for Guest to walk down.

Overall resort is well placed on Savii and has been well thought out some time ago very similar to aggie grey apia. The 'resort' has good bones needs upgrading and maintenance and staff training to compete with other resorts. Has had new management for 1 week so I am sure they are aware of the issues. Breakfast/bar staff have no idea what they are doing they are not developing confidence in the client, so the client goes elsewhere for meals.

Stop asking clients to order for dinner at lunch times - who started this idea. Staff do not explain anything. We ordered lunch at beach bar, waiting, waiting etc. only to find they placed the order for dinner at night whilst we were expecting the order for lunch.Had to argue we wanted it for lunch. Not good enough. Need a saltwater, wet edge pool, as can be difficult to swim at low tide due to coral. No where to 'lounge' only normal upright chairs at a table, need hammocks or sun lounges on beach (due to coral and sinking sand), otherwise you have to lie down on the bed. No privacy as people walk past your room

Great Location and beautiful beach. Highly recommend for swimming and snorkelling. The Beach Villas were best with plenty of room. Air conditioning great. Staff friendly and helpful.

No cash registers so you didn't get a receipt each time and difficult to keep track of purchases. Change from purchases seemed to be hard to get as they never had small change. Always had to wait till later and remember to get it. Showers at beach Villas need to be higher so we can stand under them.

The location is set on one of the most beautiful beaches in the Southern Hemisphere if you ask me. Staff were welcoming and accomodating.

The staff at times were poor when it came to tallying costs. After settling the bill, we were later advised that they had not accurately calculated the costs and told we owed more. This was not an issue, however, when we had nothing less than $50 bills, they were supposedly unable to offer change (even from the Bistro) which was annoying considering they told us late the night before we were to check out at 5am and we had to find a local shop open to get a few measley dollars and pay the remainder of the bill. On another occassion we were quoted considerably less for an upgrade and were then told 15 mins later we owed quite a bit more. The service was otherwise excellent though, we just felt that they could have done better by confirming everything before passing on inaccurate information.

Fantastic experience! Would highly recommend Stevensons to any traveller. The staff were just wonderful and truly made our stay. Stayed in a Beachfront Villa which was huge, comfortable and serviced daily. Can't wait to go back!

Loved the quiet, peaceful location and the rustic charm of the Villas. Staff friendly and helpful. Value for money.

Air conditioner and ceiling fans old and noisy. Wall in rear courtyard of Villa 3 needs to be fixed for more privacy when using shower. Access to beach from Villas needs steps.

Would like to say "Thank you" to Meaghan whom was the Manager on duty when we arrived and for helping me out when we were delayed with our flight from NZ. The staff were very helpful, friendly and easy to approach. Loved the beach and the set out of the Beach Fales but things were abit too spreadout eg Reception and Restaurant across the road from the Beach Fales.

Would have preferred more lights especially at night time where the beach fales were. House cleaning could have been better and provided everyday instead of every second day. Overall stay was enjoyable.
