- Location - Staff was super helpful and polite
- Breakfast - had to choose it the night before and not a lot of choice
Staff was great
the staff was extremely friendly
in a junior suite, i'd have expected a bath and not only a shower. (but there would have been a pool and steam bath area for usage of 30min per room.)
I like this hotel, especially staff. It is very clean in the bathroom, bed linen and towels are good, and they change it very often. That`s nice. But...
Sorry, but I don`t understand why I have to pay for coffee in the morning if breakfast is encluded. Breakfast is very poor indeed. Such breakfast in "four stars" is inpossible! They economize on it really. And if you want to go to the swimming pool after 3 P.M., you have to pay for it.
The friendly staff in the reception who all spoke English. Very nice change to other places in ukraine where most people only speak russian or ukrainian. The rooms and bathrooms. Relatively close to town.
Breakfast - the fact that you had to make specific orders and that basics like bread and cheese were special orders. Breakfast staff not so friendly and helpful, they kept rolling their eyes when asked for coffee, tea etc.
Finely decorated, high quality finish of instalations. Swimming pool. Well situated. Friendly and professional staff and private security. In one word, fantastic!
Excellent hotel. Staff were excellent arranging taxi and sightseeing. Thanks to Janice (lived in Ireland).
Very poor noise prevention, it feels as if your neigbour is sitting right in your room
Big, clean room with a very nice bathroom (no bathtub though). Nice indoor swimming pool, which you can use in private, but only for 30 minutes a day.
So much was wrong I am not sure where to start. First, the localization isn't very nice. Close to the center, but the streets aren't lit at night and the neighbourhood is extremely run down. Hotel feels like a besieged fortress (surrounded with 4 meter walls), going out after sundown feels like a bad idea. Second, the breakfast not very nice, given the price. Two eggs and a cookie. Only tea, no coffe (!). It seems, not only the guests are left hungry. When my girfriend left the food (she was ill), the ladies ate it for themselves:) Third, the receptionists don't speak English very well. Fourth. When my girlfriend fell ill, I wasn't allowed to take a hot tea to the room, as it was "against their rules". Fifth. The pool is for free only for 30 minutes a day. You have to pay to get more. Sixth. When checking in, they wanted passports of both guests. Seventh. Our room was checked by the receptionist when we checked out, wheather we hadn't nicked something. To summarise, we don't recommend this hotel to anyone.
The receptionist Dmitriy was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and nice
The breakfest was fairly poor. You had no choice in the matter, they just served what they prepared. Usually some morning pie. And also the staff in the hotel restaurant was impolite. The location wasnt so goo either.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was the nicest we had on our holiday in Ukraine - clean and spacious. Loved the heated towel rack! The location was convenient being only a short walk to the water and restaurants. Public buses are about a 15 min. walk away. Didn't use the pool but you need to book it in advance and then you have private use of it for no extra charge.
Breakfast was the same for all the guests, so let them know in advance if you are a vegetarian or have any allergies or intolerances. We were served bread, ham, and a small amount of cheese our first day. The next day we had an omelet, which was a big improvement. Tea is included, but coffee is extra.
Dificult to find, the same as all the hotels in ukrania.
the staff was wonderfuly helpful Rooms very clean and tidy Excellent location, walking distance from the city center. And yet you can sleep at night with open windows and not be disturbed by any noise Very warm and cozy little hotel
Hotel is really comfortable and clean. Staff speak some English, but if you speak at least a bit of Russian or Ukrainian, it makes things easier and everybody value if you try speak their language. Its a bit hard to find this place, but it definitely worth it once you get oriented the location is great. You have free (and private) pool and steam for 30 minutes per day. If we said we cant eat any more eggs for breakfast (after a week and something in Ukraine, where eggs and omeletts are usually served for breakfast) they simply did something else for us for three next days.
Walls are far from soundproof so you will probably hear all details of life in the room next to yours including intimate ones, and they will probably hear yours - but simply taking ear plugs with you can make your stay perfect.
