Very clean, friendly and all facilities needed for a pleasent stay. 24/7 opened
Friendly, english speaking staff. Safe environment
We passed by the hostel few times without seeing it. its on the 2nd floor of a building. 1st floor is a store. its a white building at the corner. when you stand at the bridge and give your back to river you see the hostel.
My girl-friend and I have stayed in the private double room in Corsair Hostel for four nights. It had all the necessary comforts, including, importantly, the air conditioner! The staff was very nice and welcoming, the kitchen well equipped, the location is good. Thank you!!
The only drawback is that the hostel has only two bathrooms for all residents, private or dorm. The best value for money in the private room (it was not cheap) would be to have a private bathroom.
Perfect stuff, excellent furniture and services.
I have nothing to complain
Most of all I enjoyed chatting with administrators who are very helpful and friendly. Anatoliy is very serious guy and makes his job superb! Bogdan is cooking all the time and we had sushi, borsch, vareniki and plov party! The owners are very nice as well. Overall you feel you are welcomed and that everyone from staff and guests is your old-old-old friend. Comfortable beds are very massive and when someone was climbing up to the upper floor, my bed was not moving! Fully equipped kitchen (never saw this kind of kitchen at any of the hostels), hot water (in Yalta it is a problem as I know). Also I like the fact they have big balconies and you can enjoy the fresh juice, wine or read a book in the shade of the trees, it is very romantic! And Alvin (a dog) is the creature you would definitely like! Such a cute boy!
Some guys had a battle playing Sony Play Station so I couldn't watch TV (there was a performance I wanted to see), however, I can live without it :)
It's very clean and organized! The price is great for what they give.
2 drunk Belgium guys after a whole day of unsocial behavior and drinking, joined me and my friend in the kitchen and for nothing turned a joke about fake pizza ( I defined fake all pizza not made in Italy) into a personal offense against them, one guy then kept a frying pan and wanted to hit me with that, the other guy had a fork or a pen, I shouted them I won't respond to violence because they were too dirty and too ugly instead if they touched me I would have called the police. The staff member instead of calling the police and kick them out was pushing me outside the kitchen, according to him I had to leave not these crazy people with who he was drinking before. I had to push him back to state my right to seat in the kitchen. The day after he told the manager I was the violent, but security camera will confirm my version and also my friend that was a witness. I will not come back to this hostel because of this staff member. All the others where super nice and friendly, especially Kate. so sad to need this review, it's the first time after more then 200 hostels all over the world. No violence should be tolerated whoever was violent should have been kicked off!!!
