Everything was superb from the tasteful decor to the attention to detail at breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff both informative and very friendly. Our room had 180 degree views (and sounds) of the sea.

Position opposite the sea magnificent. All extremely attractive and well- run. Friendly, welcoming and every detail well thought out. Breakfast excellent. Owners and staff immensely helpful with advice and planning what to do, where to eat etc.

A bit further out from Hermanus town than we realised but not a problem.

The house was beautiful, elegant and comfortable. The staff and owners were extremely friendly and helpful. All in all a wonderful experience.

Everything; the charming hospitality, the stunning view, the scrumptious breakfast; nothing was too much, like booking golf tee off times and restaurants. A five star experience. The location was stunning. The Guest House was a beautiful design with amazing decor. The management and staff could not have been more helpful. The breakfasts were amazing. All in all the best accommodation we have had on our month stay in South Africa. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to family and friends.

If anything, the lengths of the bed!

The outstanding friendliness of all staff and both owners and the impressive initial welcome. The beautiful breakast. The outstanding accommodation and furniture and fittings which must have reflected the owners own tastes. The unforgetable setting overlooking the sea. A stay to be remembered and recommended. The house design was very impressive and a great deal of thought must have gone into it.

There was nothing we could possibly dislike regarding our one day stay, in fact the owners must be complimented on their absolutely beautiful establishment perfect in all ways

Attention to detail was excellent. The hosts were very friendly and extremely helpful The little extras ,such as port and sherry for late evening were nice. Bedroom was beautifully laid out. Lovely view from the balcony window. The French toast breakfast with bacon and avocado was sumptuous.

Cannot beat the location - right on the seashore on the outskirts of Harmanus. The guesthouse is very nicely appointed with common rooms, a balcony, and a great breakfast. Beth was a very helpful hostess. Our room was on the upper floor overlooking the ocean, with access to the balcony. Stunning views. It didn't hurt that the whales were putting on a show right near the shore.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Very comfortable accommodation and a breakfast to die for which was different each morning. Complimentary Sherry and Port and coffee/tea making facilities a bonus. Not all rooms overlook the sea but the first floor lounge does. Helpful advice on what to see and where to eat made our stay most enjoyable. A booking at Harbour Rock restaurant was made for our 1st night - very enjoyable eatery

Sometimes we felt that the advice was a bit "in your face" but they were happy when we said that we would make our own arrangements.

That it was at the water with a lovely view of the sea. The breakfast was lovely and the Ladies looking after us made a very huge effort.

That it was not in Hermanus. Hence, in hindsight it cost far to much per person esp as end of April is not busy any more. The room was very small for the two of us and our luggage. The veranda outside our room was not private so we had a chap sitting there while we were going about our business in our room with full view of us. We did not receive clean towels and when I went down in the late afternoon there was no one there to ask. I had to go into another room to get extra loo paper. It was not as clean as it looked on the surface ie tea making facility. The safe was not bolted down so no real use.

Everything ran smoothly and with the personal, yet unabtrusive attention of our charming hosts. There was a stylish yet relaxed ambience, with no clutter and noise to interfere with the special view and sounds of the sea. A broad selection of reading material was available and the breakfasts were fresh, delicious and original. A real breath of fresh air. Thank-you, Loius, Jena and your staff.

Beautiful house right on the sea shore. Louis and Gena were really lovely hosts and very helpful with local knowledge. This really felt like a home from home with coffee/tea available all the time and complimentary sherry/port in the evening. Stunning lounge for guests use which lead to interesting conversations. We would definitely recommend 138 Marine Beachfront to anyone.

Prachtig huis, met geweldig mooi uitzicht en heel smaakvol ingericht. De ontvangst en verdere ontmoetingen met de eigenaren ne personeel was allerhartelijkst en professioneel. Aanrader.

Wir haben eine Nacht in 138 Marine Beachfront Guesthouse übernachtet und fanden das Haus und die Innendekoration wunderschön und die Aussicht auf das Meer atemberaubend. Das Rauschen der Wellen und der Geruch vom salzigen Meer war herrlich. Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Rosemary empfangen. Sie hat uns auch mit Restaurantwahl geholfen und uns auch Transport organisiert. Das Frühstück war köstlich und der Tisch sehr hübsch gedeckt. Anita hat uns leckere Eierspeisen zubereitet. Wir wollten nach einer Nacht gar nicht abreisen es war viel zu kurz und es war so schön und wir möchten gerne zurückkommen.

Eine liebenswürdige Gastgeberin, die einem jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Sie ist Super organisiert , gibt jede Hildfestellung bei Tourenplanung, Restaurantsuche etc.

Durch Eigentümer liebevoll geführtes Guesthouse. Das ganze Haus ist sehr offen gestaltet, sodass man jederzeit einen Blick auf das Meer hat. Tolles Frühstück mit frischem Obst, auf Wunsch wird ein warmes Frühstück zubereitet. Zudem wird man umfassend mit Infos versorgt, bis hin zur Reservierung von Restaurants..Hier stimmt einfach alles, Sogar das WLAN funktioniert durchgängig über das gesamte Areal.

Betten könnten länger sein.

Die Lage ist umwerfend! Von der Terrasse, dem Balkon und den gemütlichen Aufenthaltsräumen hat man einen fantastischen Blick auf das Meer. Das Haus ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detal eingerichtet. Lecker Frühstück! Reizende Gastgeberin!

Maison très bien tenue les propriétaires sont vraiment très sympathiques le petit déjeuner fut une bonne expérience tant sur le plan humain que sur le plan gustatif et quelle vue dans cette maison la mer est omniprésente fantastique !!!

Notre chambre ne donnait pas sur la mer ce fut notre seule déception !! très bonne adresse
