Score from 30 reviews Very good
Set in a tropical garden, this hotel boasts an all-year outdoor pool with a sun deck. It is less than 10 minutes’ drive from the world famous Kruger National Park. A restaurant and chapel are on site....

Score from 21 reviews Excellent
The service and courtesy from the staff was amazing. The rooms are neat and well maintained, and the bed was very comfortable and the place is well supplied (cutlery, dishes, blankets, towels, pillows). It was great value for money.
It would be great if they add shower heads, it was rather uncomfortable using a communal bath.
location is good
dirty Booked one room type and given a different room
Staff very friendly and helpful, Quietness of the facility, Peace and tranquility. I have stayed here before and I will come back due to it being an affordable option. A lot of money was spend on a new admin building. conference facility and bar, in my humble opinion that money could have been spend upgrading the rondavels.and the entrance to the property. The entrance is bad advertising for a really nice place.
No double bed in bedroom. Poor Quality of mattresses, No mirrors in wardrobes. Bedding old. Rooms not clean enough, floors very dusty. Bath very narrow, Put in showers and throw the baths out. Toilets to near to the wall, you actually need to sit skew to fit on the toilet and I am not a big person.
The site View, and beautiful Land Scaping. and the Swimming Pool
the beds and the Flies in the Area
The location is peaceful, beutiful and relaxing.the pool was nice, the braai area excellent. Kitchen utensils are enough and the kitchen very clean. The staff very friendly and assist at all times.
the owners should learn courtious words it seems they dont understand English too well. the bathroom has a funny smell but it properly cleaned, the rooms are dull colouful curtans and bedding might do the trick.
Very bad staff, unhelpful, can not find anyone specially during weekend, Dirty room and dirty bad bathroom, refused my booking via booking.com and asked me to pay again
Room had all the required stuff and was big enough.
Room appeared like closed since many days. There was that distinct odor.
False advertising! No tennis courts, No microwave, no facilities on premises. Rooms totally dirty! cod webs all over, like nobody's been living in the rooms for decades! Proprietors are not people friendly, and we felt like intruders! Noise early hours of the morning, doing lawn moving. Were on vacation, at 7 in the morning is unacceptable! I will expect a full refund from the lodge.
Please would you include microwaves and tv and small stove,it doesn't help it being self catering but no important neccesaties. And a resturant is a must because its far from shopping centres. We had a good stay though
No resturant inside the resort, microwave, stove and television.
Staff not helpful. Room lacked basic facilities and utensils for a self catering facilty. Room service not up to scratch. Braai areas not adequately maintained and not cleaned regularly. Parking area not clearly demarcated, uncovered and not ideally for rainy seasons.
The staff were very helpful and try and accommodate us as far as possible. just read the terms and conditions properly before you book.
the chalets maybe need a microwave that will help a lot.
I like the location
I didn't like the place because there are no TV sets.
We were originally booked in a room type accommodation with air conditioning but without a stove. We wanted a facility so that we can cook and make our own food as we are totally Halaal. I requested this to be changed. We then were given a rondavel without air conditioning. I then requested an air conditioned type rondavel and I was told that they are fully booked. I stayed for 3 days and it was very hot and humid. I was in rondavel no17 The rondavels around me were empty and I requested every morning for my rondavel to be changed. I was only told that the rondavels are paid for. This I find very difficult to believe as it is very unlikely that all the guests would not arrive. I will not recommend this place to people of colour as they may encounter similar problems. Also take note of the following: 1) The mattresses are like sponge cakes. It is as if you sleeping in a hammock. 2) There are no showers. Only a bath tub with a very small curtain screen. 3) The toilet had to be unblocked twice. 4) The waste water does not flow freely out of the bath tub. I was informed that had I been " a whiter shade of pale" I would've had no problems getting another rondavel. One more thing, I was told to to make sure that on my date of departure, I must make ensure I depart by 10HRS00 sharp as there are people booked for rondavel no.17 Somehow I feel these people were people of colour.
Very poor. Dirty. Bad manner of the owner. Toilets never cleaned.full of insects. Did not accept my reservation via booking.com and refused to give the key except after paying him directly. It was sunday and reception is closed and contact was by phone. I passed the whole day calling customer service till 8 pm.
Very bad hotel and manager
the location and surrounding scenery was beautiful.
the toilet had not been cleaned and the room had an unpleasant smell.
