Abangane Guest Lodge  

Absolutely wonderful experience. The hosts are super friendly, Klaus is a very good cook, the ambient is just extremely cozy. You feel like you're miles away from everything else and can only enjoy the view and relax. The pool and garden are very well maintained and the view can make you travel far far away while seated under the porch. Their 4 legged friends are as friendly and always ready to cuddle and running around. Feels like the rich grandmothers house where all the family gets together. The rooms are nice, simple but comfortable and spacious. Although its a bit price relating to others, I would definitely recommend this lodge if you want to really relax and enjoy a quality accommodation.

When we first arrived, later than expected, Klaus and Reidwan greeted us and we had a fantastic meal of ostrich. The stay was very peaceful, the food outstanding and the service fantastic. We also had an afternoon and morning safari which was arranged by Klaus. Again outstanding value as Kruger park is only 15 mins away and we saw all of the big 5, including a pride of 10 lions at a very recebt kill. We would have no hesitation in recommending Abangane to anyone and everyone. Thank you Klaus

Abangane is a superb, secluded small guest house very close to the Kruger Park. We had a very pleasant and relaxing stay in very nice surroundings, only wish we had longer there. Excellent standards throughout, staff could not be friendlier and food very good. We will definitely be back!

Its a hidden treasure. Extremely clean and surrounded by beautiful nature. Views from our room and breakfast table was amazing!! Welcoming drinks on the house great idea especially after a long day's drive. Also the owners are very friendly and warm. They also booked Safari Game drive for us and made us lovely breakfast for our trip...The pool is over looking the lowveld valleys and mountains which brought us some relaxation and beauty... Amazing place to stay at

Did not like that we were a couple and had to sleep in single beds just put together. The bed I slep in also sank which was uncomfortable for couples they should find a better way of combining the single beds into double.

Thoroughly recommend this very tasteful accommodation. All staff very friendly and helpful. We will return.

Crispy clean, friendly owners and absolutely no car noise. Excellent food, felt better than home away from home.

Comfort, privacy

Also das schönste an der Abangane Lodge ist nicht nur die tolle Landschaft und Ambiente, sondern auch das Komfort und zwar vom Zimmer bis zum Wohnzimmer. Wir fanden die Einrichtung des Zimmers sehr Romantisch und liebevoll. Das Haus und alles drum und dran ist wunderschön, wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Besitzer Klaus und Ridwaan sind ganz tolle Menschen, sehr zuvorkommend und vorallem sehr natürlich. Es gibt auch drei wunderbare liebe Hunde, die einer immer begrüßen und beschutzen. Der Ort Hazyview ist perfekt für Menschen, die Afrika entdecken möchten. Man ist 20 Minuten vom Kruger Park entfernt und 10 Minuten von Induna Adventure, wo man z.B. River Rafting (mach super viel Spaß!) unter anderen machen kann. Wir haben uns jede Sekunde wohl gefühlt und waren zum Abschied ein wenig traurig!

Der Aufenthalt in Abangane Lodge gehört zu den Highlights unserer Südafrika- Reise. Der Ausblick aus den liebevoll eingerichteten Zimmern in das grüne Tal ist traumhaft. Klaus und Ridwaan & Mitarbeiter verzaubern diese Lodge mit Freundlichkeit, Aufmerksamkeit, Guter Laune und nicht zuletzt kulinarischen Köstlichkeiten auf absolutem Spitzenniveau. Ach hätte man doch auch doch den Mut, einfach auszusteigen und an diesem herrlichen Ort ein Guesthaus zu errichten. Man wird richtig neidisch auf den Hausherren, einem deutscher "Aussteiger". Das Hotel ist toll. Sehr schöne, große Zimmer, Pool, traumhafter Garten mit genialem Ausblick auf die umliegende Natur. Wenn man vorher es vorher anmeldet wird einem auch ein Abendessen gekocht. Sehr faire Preise. Nicht abschrecken lassen vom "ersten Eindruck". Von der Straße weist ein nur kleines bescheidenes Schildchen den Weg zum Paradies. Dann geht es ca 1,5 km über eine holprige Schotterpiste. Dann ist man da und möchte für immer bleiben.

Mein persönlicher Favorit unter den Lodges, in denen wir auf dieser Reise übernachtet haben. Tolles Design mit Wohlfühlfaktor, sehr persönlicher Service in lockerer Athmosphäre. Sehr sehr ruhige Lage. Danke an Klaus und sein Team! Wir kommen wieder!
