Helpful staff Good room
Amongst the best self-catering units I have stayed in
I wanted a view of at least the mountain or the ocean I got none
I stayed in the small studio which was actually very large and had a lovely little kitchen. The staff was suppose friendly and accommodating. The area is quite safe but should be careful at night especially after like 10pm when you need to cab your trips.
The privacy of the room....amazing self catering facilities.
The only thing I didn't like was the arrangement with the bed....we got a room with twin beds and an extra large bed was requested with the booking. The staff was instructed to change and all they did was change the fitted sheet. This totally uproared my evening and just had to be satisfied with the arrangement. We made the best of a bad situation.....I would like to come back under better circumstances.
Suite was very good with all accessories and amenities one could expect. Good location for shopping and night life, with Long Street and Greenmarket Square in easy walking distance.
There was no free wifi and worked out expensive. Most other hotels of this standard in Cape Town CBD offer free wifi.
Staff and the studio room.
Spacious room; cleanliness and centrally situated.
On the date of our arrival, we were supposed to check-in at 14hrs and had to wait more than one hour for the room to be ready. We were told that there was an electricity problem. There was only one glass in the room and we asked for another one which we did not receive; after three requests, we finally received it on the second day.
I especially liked the centrality of the hotel. It was in walking distance of most things I wanted to experience. The staff, too, were at all times most helpful and extremely cordial to boot. Thanks!
The smell of food at the reception coming from the restaurant
- spacious room - cheap dining option in the hotel
- disorganized staff. It took us a while until we got the right room to the right price, with the right breakfast option...
The front office not sure if driver went for airport pick up. Wifi was not working.
Did not prepare invoice as requested which wasted time
Spacious, clean and well designed with fresh colours, comfortable furniture and quality appliances.
It was a bit noisy with the traffic moving on Adderley Street
Good price with you need a budget hotel.
The water was smelling bed and outside the hotel at night can be a little dangerous.
The rooms are very modern, and nicely decorated. It is very clean, and we did sleep very well over here. The rooms are well equipped. I would book here again.
Friendly staff, location, very nice and big room for this price, good kitchen facilities
Internet is very expensive and doesn't work well, if the internet is important to you during your trip I don't recommend this hotel.
perfect location spacious suites food fantastic staff very friendly and helpful
nothing i can think of.
Very well situated Very comfortable Very friendly staff Rooms absuluately adorable. and even roomservice very good. Go any time back.!!!
I like the cleanliness, area, service , the staff and the size of the rooms .
Great location and service
The wifi was not free and it didn't work at all.
The rooms were wonderfully furnished. Got left personal weather updates on my pillow every evening.
Parkade: It seems that the security officials at the booms do not know how to deal with the Adderley hotel guests. I was refused entry until I could prove that I was checked in, and even thereafter had to fill in the visitor's form, even when producing proof of having checked in. Breakfast: I paid in advance for my breakfasts. However, arriving at 06:36 one morning for breakfast (which I was told would be ready at 06:30), the kitchen was not ready. The dining room staff could also not confirm that I had paid for my breakfast, and the attendant at reception was not helpful, which meant that I went without breakfast that morning as I had to leave for business. Dinner: Not all menu items were available, particularly referring to the home-made crème brulee. :(
nothing to complain about
The water pipe or drain in the shower was blocked so water was getting jammed
