Everything! Rod and Magna are wonderful hosts and work hard to make every minute of your stay perfect. We booked the chalets and they are pure luxury with a very beautiful view and only 5 Km to the entrance of the Addo Elephant Park. Dinner and breakfast were also delicious and plenty. We also went to the Addo with "Geared to Go" guided by Rod and it was really worth it, as he knows everything about the animals and their habitat. Just make sure you reserve dinner and tours in advance as they are not part of the room package.

Nothing. We just wished we could have stayed longer!

Own cottages with kitchenette. Outside shower was neat and had lots of hot water. Very friendly.

No a/c but there was a fan and we could use the pool.

The Bush cabin is very quiet with a nice view. Close to Addo park.Shower is outside the cabin with a strong waterbeam.Breakfast with the friendly hostess is good. Simple accomodation but clean.

The coordinates didn't match with our TomTom, so we had to use a map. Easy to find by clear signs.

Near to the Addo Park. Good bush camp experience. View & fire excellent. Very peaceful.

Quite a trek from the car park. No assistance for luggage on hand other than a cart! When it rains - you have to stand in the rain to cook and nowhere to sit. Bit of litter around. Stove rusty and fridge ice box frozen.

Stayed in bush cabin no 1 and it was lovely. Superb views. Rod gave us a very pleasurable and informative safari tour and was very knowledgeable about the area. A lovely start to our holidays and we wish them well

Stayed in the self catering part of Dung Beetle and next to a tent you are fairly close to nature. However, if its nature you are after, and if its not nature why are you at Addo one asks, then this is a good and enjoyable experience. Not sure how it would work with kids but I would imagine that they would love it. A real adventure!

What's not to like? If you don't like a shower or loo al fresco then its not for you. The self catering bit, that is.

We stayed in one of the self-catering Bush Cabins and this was exactly what we wanted. Back to basics, with your own ‘braai’, outside kitchen, shower and toilet. Great hillside views, romantic evenings under the moon and stars. Great accommodation and very friendly and helpful staff. Good location to stay for your daytrips and game-drives to Addo Elephant Park.

we loved the bush shower! we appreciated the possibility to have dinner at the lodge. Note however that if you are in the self catering cottages, the other guests have precedence. We had a great game drive to Addo in the morning, through Geared to go, a business owned by our host Rod.

Wonderfull place with wonderfull people. The bushcabins are superb and an unforgettable experience. Felt sorry, that we didn't take time to go on a tour with Rod, we got to know him only briefly but he knows everything you may wanna know about nature and animals and he spices it well with his south-african humor. The Jacuzzi was great, surrounded by an orchestra of frogs.

Surrounded by a working citrus estate, the location and views outstanding. Rod and Magna great hosts, welcoming and informative. The game drive is a must do and well worth the early start. Car cleaned, tyres inflated nothing is too much trouble at the "farm".
