TV is not provided, and no explaination
Friendliness of the people there is superb
Should have taken a double bed option instead of twin beds. A television the chalet would be nice to catch up on sport but not a must as it could impact on peaceful surroundings.
The location of the premises and the abundance of wildlife. New water hole created close to premises allows for relaxing game viewing without having to leave your chalet. Game drives with Jesse were fun veering off the marked path to get a closer view of the animals was refreshing giving us a new look at 4x4 vehicles. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times especially Ketha when serving us diner and breakfast and Daniel at the bar.
The game drives were fantastic - Thank you Jessie for locating the Lions
Food excellent Game drives fantastic
Friendly, helpful staff. Well equipped apartment. Lots of information on the area. Game drive good.
Aggressive driving during game drive and the fact that part of the property is used for hunting. Tourists come first, wildlife second!
The elephant experience at Bayete (sp?)
No mention made of 10kms of dirt road.
Pleasant lodge facilities including a lovely swimming pool. it was well stocked with game.
Very unkindley lady Madelaine Owen. And a lot off problems with paying with Creditcard. She want make a copy from our Creditcard and Pasport, after paying the safari. When we have reservate, (3 th months before) she has "make" a mistake (2 times?) and take 100% of the costs. Swimming pool was not clean. The restaurant and bar was closed.
We liked everything
A very nice place to stay very good breakfast and dinner Friendly and helpfull staff. Made a morning and afternoon safarie excelent and experienced guide and very a very good service for moring coffee and afternoon tea during the game drive.
I did not like that I was not staying longer.
Loved the thoughtfulness of our hostess. The whole cottage is really stunning and absolutely great value. Loved the fact that a fire was prepared for us in our own private area. Stunning sunsets and views.
long bumpy road to the lodge as self-caterer guest you can not decide to order ala cart from the restaurant..
very nice landscape good game drive!, we saw lions!
Can't think of anything that we did not like.
The chalet we stayed in was perfect, 2 bedrooms with full baths, kitchen and private yard/patio. The game drives were fabulous, 3.5 hrs at $25 per person, with incredible game sightings (cheetah, elephant, lion etc). Mike our guide was extremely knowledgeable, fun, skilled in finding game an his love for his job was evident. We came unprepared for the "self catering" chalet ( you bring you own food), Madeline was kind in bringing us coffee, tea and biscuits for the morning and extremely tolerant. We would love to stay here again, great value and fun.
Very long gravel road approx. 10km to the Lodge, is OK for 1 night stopover but becomes a bit too much when you have to travel in and out every day
Inside the Rhino reserve, lots of animals seen every day on my way towards the main road, more than one exit towards the main road, pleasant people and comfortable well equipped units with braai facilities and good equipped kitchen
book if you want to have dinner or breakfast if you don t have a 4*4 be ready to drive 10 km on a gravel road to reach the hotel
staff (do a safari with them) facilities
Very friendly and accommodating staff High quality spacious accommodation
Shower doors were both broken.
1) Game drive was awesome. 2) Unit was clean & comfortable. Staff very friendly & helpfull.
Very friendly host. We rented the SC hut, very clean, nice decorated, romantic bedroom, very cosy in evening, we could do our own braai en had our own fireplace. Next morning we went with them on a game drive looking for the lions, amazing. We found them! Thanks Jessy! Was the best game drive we had! Also very quiet, not touristic, beautiful sceneries. Recommended!
Bath room cleanliness and towel provided require some impeovement
Chalets are well equipped
What is the use of having 2 single beds side by side? It was not that comfortable for me and my girlfriend sleeping on two beds.
I loved how I go through the Game reserve seeing animals before getting the lodge.
