Airport Game Lodge  

Unique and close to the airport, good for an early morning flight out of Jo'burg.

It was a bit difficult to find. There are 2 Airport Lodges - one is a lodge & guest house, the other is a game lodge.

Very friendly staff and excellent facilties for the price.

Complimentary airport shuttle makes this a perfect stop over which is only 7km's from the airport and away from the city, set in tranquil surroundings. The transfers were punctual, the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is basic but adequate. Price is very reasonable.

Stay could be improved with an inhouse meal service/restaurant for the evening and a faster internet connection.

very convenient for ORT airport and great with their shuttle service. That is probably their best selling point .The rooms were more than adequate and dining room and food were better than average

The fact that what you're lead to believe as shown on the website, is quite different to what we experienced. Firstly the shuttle service from the airport was unorganised. Then the book-in system made one feel like you're all just cattle. The rooms were uncomfortable, cold, with only one hotwater bottle to be shared by two people, no heater and the so-called airconditioner was not working. The mattress is an uncomfortable sponge mattress and the sheets were about 10 years overdue for replacement. The shower is inside your bedroom, so if you were two people sharing, this would be uncomfortable, with a basin in the seperate toilet. The "cupboard" just had beads hanging in front of it as an enclosure! The staff/owner was unfriendly and did not even greet when we said good morning. I was horified to say the least. We had just returned from a holiday in Italy and needed somewhere convenient to stay over for our connecting flights the next day. I had made all my accommodation bookings for Italy using booking.com and they were all spot-on. We certainly need some kind of grading system or someone from booking.com to evaluate the establishments that the pictures shown on the website and the write-up is exactly what you could expect. Ignore the 3 star rating given, its a hoax, don't believe it, it does not deserve more than 1 star!

Ambiente calmo e silencioso. Longe do ruido da cidade. Excelentes áreas nos quartos na ala mais recente do hotel. Apreciamos a existencia de uma sala e cozinha que os hospedes podem utilizar para convivio e pequenas refeições.

A internet era gratis, mas a força do sinal Wi-Fi era fraco, em especial nos quartos mais distantes da recepção.

Me ha gustado la habitacion I y el paisaje,

No habia servicio de comida, nos la traian, mas caro que otros en la misma zona y mejores. Con mejor trato.

Chambre spacieuse,bonne literie,bonne exposition,cadre campagnard avec la présence de nombreux animaux,petit déjeuner varié et copieux,navette gratuite aéroport.

Chauffage inadapté à la taille de la pièce et à la température nocturne ,pas de flexible de douche.
