The Alpine Inn's main building is a traditional old Cape Dutch style house, nestled in the tranquil Garden Route area of South Africa. I loved my little cottage, the special catering to my vegetarian diet with some really great food, plus the staff. Add the location which was quiet and safe, well I felt this was one of the highlight stays in my 3 week visit to South Africa. I loved the place and the people. Period. Nothing bad to say.

The quiet, neat, little house feeling! My husband didn't like fact that there is only 3 channels on the TV and not Mnet and sport channels available.

The spacious room, the comfortable bed, the modern spacious bathroom, the beautiful paintings! Also the friendly staff, we wanted to have a braai and the manager left us plates, knives and forks and everything we needed. Friendly atmosphere. Will be staying again next time. Nothing

The freindliness, helpfullness and real concerns about our cranky (mature couple) needs. The fact that at our late booking stage they had plenty of space available at a very affordable price and all the qualities we could demand.

The rooms were ok for the price we paid. Breakfast: I missed the fact that their room rate excludes breakfast (my fault i guess). Cosidering the kind of breakfast served, it was not worth the R60pp rate. Wimpy could have been a better alternative at less the price to what we had there for breakfast. Plus, on the first morning, we were not even asked what we would like for hot breakfast, we were just served whatever was on the menu. it finally made sense why the breakast area was empty even though the place was fully booked.

Convenient and practical 6 sleeper unit when travelling with a family. No toiletries provided-no soaps,shampoo etc in the bathroom.the unit provided was not the one advertised.

Very comfortable and relaxing surroundings. Enjoyed the obvious attention to detail in the garden/ landscaping. Wi fi facilities. The unseasonal weather... nothing you could do about that!

die gute Lage zum Fancourt Golfplatz und auch zu den Golfplätzen George und Kingswood Es ist hier Winter - die vorhandene Heizung war völlig unzureichend, um das Zimmer auf 21 Grad zu bringen. Wir mussten den Abend in Lokalen verbringen, bis wir ins Bett gingen. Da auch keine Aircondition vorhanden ist, kann ich mir einen Aufenthalt im Sommer auch nur schlecht vorstellen.
