With great Atlantic Ocean views, The Ritz is just 1000 ft from the beach and minutes from the V&A Waterfront. It boasts the only revolving restaurant in Cape Town.

Enough space in the flat. Quite secure. Nice and helpful staff, same as in the little restaurant on the ground floor
Not clean. The floor was very dirty and in the bathroom you could see that nobody ever cleaned the corners. Plumbing was not working well. Quite noisy because of other guests
Location, no frills good value for money. Clean, great staff and plenty hot water.
Parking bays too few often had to park on the street. WiFi only available on a password per device, bad speed.
Noisy guests leaving at 04.00, !!
Location and pricing is good value 4 money.
Housekeeping comes around to late to clean rooms and coffee supplies were not replenished.
It was very convenient for the purpose of my visit.
The overall maintenance of the room had declined since I was there last year. The two bed lamps did not work and the walls need painting, badly scuffed in places. They seemed to have a number of long-term tenants that smoked and drank on the balcony which was unpleasant for a non-smoker. Would look for alternative accommodation when I next visited Cape Town on business. I would not stay there with my family.
Great staff, all very helpful and happy to see us return. Location is great, close to Waterfront shopping facility, price was good, booked on line thru booking.com.
Once again the TV or lack of channels were poor [ only 5 local channels ] no remote control. The internet WiFi connection was extremely slow, really needs to be improved, even at night. Coming back late at night, no parking available as entire parking area full.
The location was good. The staff were accommodating and friendly at all times.
The power points are unacceptable, inconsistent. The shelf above the hand basin is not appropriate, it is dangerous and should be relocated in another suitable area. This could cause accidents to your head when brushing your teeth or washing your face. PLEASE CHANGE it immediately The bath shower glass was not fixed very well. Leakage from sink in kitchen.
noise Staff was a bit unorganised
Cafe and its staff Night staff Location Off street parking Proximity to Supermarket and Resturants
Noisy neighbours Matress (Room 106)
The security you feel safe when you are at the hotel.
Please try to change Tv's those are the old one's.
The lift had a loud noise that kept waking me up as my room was close to the lift. The cleaning staff would open the door and enter the room immediately after knocking, and didn't wait for me to answer the door. The view from my room was to the back side of the building and not on the mountain view as I booked. There was no phone in the room to call the reception.
Need smoking balconies
Great night life, you feel so free exploring the town even at night. Good food places
Location good if you need to walk to shops, beach, restaurant but not if you want a view as on busy road. With the exception of my negative comment, security has been well thought out. Clean and neat. Not expensive.
A bit noisy so only got to sleep late and them woken at 7:30 am by staff member wanting to give me a receipt. He could have just slipped it under door. Just got back to sleep then woken by housekeeping. Perhaps a Do Not Disturb sign? felt uncomfortable at check-in as too many irrelevant personal questions were being asked by man at reception and this made me question my safety on premises as a single traveler.
Good location and value for money
Housekeeping does not service a ŕoom in one or two steps-regardless of occupancy. Seperate disturbances for linen removal, then towels, then the electricity, then the kitchen...etc etc. Avoid if planning to spend time here during day. At least they could provide a No Disturb sign...
comfortable bed and enough space .The view .
The rabbish bin spend about two days in the kitchin and it was overflowing .There was no toilet pappers in the toilet .

Firstly our booking to arrive early was completely not communicated, although they were aware we would be two guests we had to request an optional key, we were also not provided with a remote for the parking facility and only after complaining of having to wait at the gate did we receive a remote! We also needed washing done but was told the washing machine was out of order and although we requested coffee and tea that was replenished to be refilled this was never done! To add insult we were awoken one morning at 6:45am by an attendant request the iron we had iron we had in our room??? A totally unpleasant stay!
The seaview fromthe bolcon and the coffee in the room
There must be a stove and pans to prepair food
The location was great, rooms are spacious and good value for money.
Parking - too few parking spots, and even those available are very tight, requiring a great deal of careful maneuvering. Staff were not attentive to the access in and out of parking, not watching the cameras to timely open the gate. After multiple complaints and frustration, we were given a remote, which resolved the issue. Other guests were making a lot of noise at 6-7 am, and disturbing our sleep, shouting in the passages from one room to another, and from the balcony. At no point staff addressed that. The shower splatters a lot of water on the floor, I had to ask for extra towels to keep them on the floor in addition to the bath mat.
Noise entire evening, plugs not working, pillows and duvet poor.
Great service. Wonderful setting.Very clean and secure
The appliances like TV and fridge was dated, expected modern considering the cost.
Alright place to stay for one night but would not go back
First let we waited out side our room for 25min as the key system did not work due to batters flat. Secondly went inside room was not in the best condition NO TOWELS IN THE ROOM, NO TOILET PAPER AS WELL. Then hair dryer not working hato strip it as the plug was broken. So I hato go down stairs and ask for all these things that only arrived 1 hour later. Then the next morning having breakfast the chair broke while on it.
The location was good, central to everything, room was big and comfortable, WiFi slow, security good, staff were very helpful at all times, safe secure parking next to the hotel with remote entry [ clicker from the hotel on arrival ]
Extremely noisy water system, very limited TV channels, extremely noisy guests which could be heard throughout the hotel [ which obviously isn't the hotels' fault but still disturbing ]
The no fuss late night concierge service and safe parking. That we easily booked online shortly before getting to the hotel. The value for money and amenities in the rooms were great! Also very central for the Cape Town experience.
