There were no blinds/curtains in the bathroom
Safe Secure Parking Friendly Staff Good Coffee & Plunger!
The secured parking and the security system of the hotel was excellent.
I wish they could put stoves or even a two - plate in the kitchen. All other utilities are there like the microwave oven, kettle and iron.
The security was excellent and the staff extremely helpful and friendly.
There was no couch in the living room.
Rooms were nice, staff friendly, good location. My wife and teenage children travelled without me, and the staff looked after my requests for their apartment diligently. They enjoyed their stay, and the price was very fair for in Season!
looking out at barbed wire
bedding changing daily entire cleanliness security and access control
T.V. channels does not offer freedom of choice. really that is my night mare. Please try to improve. no news i could access no animals. please this is imperative. your sofa was very old n uncomfortable. please change it
It had all the facilities mentioned while booking the hotel. The reception staffs were very helpful.
Was provide with twin bed for a couple (had actually book for a double bed). The cleanness of the toilet needs to be improved with replacing the toilet papers during room services.
Great location Inexpensive Friendly staff Nice Bath Big room
Our first room was terrible- our fridge was making a loud buzzing noise and our balcony faced the main road. The hotel agreed to move us and the second room was better. They forgot to clean our room the one day- even though we left the room early and put the "clean our room" sign on the door. The bed was a bit small for my husband and I, and I wouldn't describe us as large people. Only 15 parking bays for 45 rooms so my husband got frustrated when looking for parking everyday.
Coming from Holland and never been to the Cape before I felt so safe, everyone was so helpful and was a wonderful trip I do not regret doing!
Not having enough money to do all I wanted to do!!
Toilet had no seat. No kettle or spoons. Key didnt work. Still waiting on Wifi code. No keys for secure parking. No chairs on balcony. Shower water control broken. Manhole in ceiling open. No aircon control. No TV control. I am a regular client of booking.com This stay was a rip off to say the least.
Staff - warm, courteous, accommodating Cleaners - did a great job Location - next to bus stop Bus 10 mins to V&A 5 min walk to promenade, cafes, restaurants and bars all very close Checkers and Spar also very, very close Good room Good bed 30mins walk to Green Point Park 40 mins walk to V&A 40 mins walk to Camps Bay
Wi-fi was fair at best. They installed a new system while I was there which worked better
Location was nice
VERY dirty! Will not be staying there again
Free WiFi, room was exactly as pictures on the website and we got as expected.
We had an extra bed in the room but they did not give extra pillows. I did asked reception for pillows which they said they will bring later, but never received it. Next day, we left early in the morning and returned just before 11pm at night, room was cleaned but no toilet paper supplied so we had to look around to find toilet paper that time of the night.
Proximity to the beach, checkers and woolworths.
I absolutely hated the fact that when booking, we were not advised to ask about our departure, thus, a family of 8 was expected to check out at 11h00 whilst our flight was for 17h00. The woman behind the counter was extremely unhelpful and irritable. She did not smile once on 2 occasions when I went to talk to her. She should go work with machines and not with people. We were not given free wifi vouchers the first night. We were not advised of the iron and ironing board available and we're flabbergasted when we were asked if they had lent it to us when another guest was looking for same. Our 3 rooms were not cleaned once in 3 nights. They were even dusty when we took occupation. The corridor walls and nooks were dirty from ages ago. There was no remote control for the TV in one of the rooms. A 2 plate stove in the rooms would do, to save guests money so that they could cook for themselves if they wish.
The Room is spacious and the kitchenette is convenient. Wi-fi was also appreciated. The location is superb. We appreciated the friendliness of the guy that carried our bags and showed us our room. The aircon is a real plus.
The room had a funny smell. We booked and paid for 3 people, but there were no pillows om the uncomfortable bunker bed and also only towels and coffee/tea for 2. For 2 days of our stay we had to buy our own toiletpaper and there were no teaspoons in our room.
Personal was very helpfull. Issues got fixed immediately.
Parking space is limited and was sometimes fully allocated.
Brilliant staff, very helpful. Excellent security and there is even secure private parking. All rooms have a good size balcony and from ours we had a view of Lion's Head mountain. We enjoyed making our own breakfast and having it on this balcony but the courtyard below where they serve breakfast looked very inviting. We had a double suite which was very spacious, light, bright and comfortable. There are loads of interesting shops, bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity in Main Road.
The blinds let the light in and there are no curtains or black out curtains, so if you don't want to be woken up very early by the light you need to bring an eye mask!
Good vicinity to shops, eateries, pool. Big rooms.
The WiFI was hopeless. We would have stayed somewhere else if we had known how bad it was. Room service was slow, or came straight in while we were in bed, we had already asked told them we were in bed! 8am.
Assistance by Lewis - night staff during a very late check in . Couldn't have been better Nice size room Was only in it for 4 hours
Shower set up and glass cover on bath( re shower) leaked like a siff and the whole floor was wet No coffee in room (( instant coffee powder)
Breakfast at downstairs foyer - poor quality, and we had to wait over an hour after the order was placed
The cleanliness Mops and swabs were not provided
Everything left a day early
The upkeep of the place, it was not clean
Cleaner on wed lousy. No receptionist on Friday 5.30am.U booked rundown car, tyre burst on way to airport. Never I will stay at amalfi
