The rooms smelt of cigarette smoke The main bedroom"s ceiling was a skylight - not great for sleeping in! The access to the bathroom was weird - between both rooms

Nothing Bathrooms Not clean would have used flipflops to shower in. Electrical connections in room is a serious safety hazard. Rooms are dark and an ad on, upon an ad on to the original structure. I am travelling a lot for work purposes and stay at a lot of guesthouses - this can not be a 4 Star venue - I would have rated it a 2 star. Very noisy street. We just could not settle down and had eventually moved to the Protea Hotel and had a great, clean and comfortable stay there. Your website`s creadibility is seriously questioned with a venue like this. This place needs to be reevaluated and accordingly graded.

Cheap overnight stopover between Cape Town and Johannesburg. Breakfast was made available earlier than 7am. Good choice of hot breakfast items. Good location for easy access to N1 highway. Staff are indifferent and not friendly. No towels available upon arrival for 3rd person. Bathroom soaps supplied were old and brittle; shower leaked water onto floor. Bedside lamp broken, Tv picture very poor. Noisy location on busy intersection, the hotel name is not indicative of a haven nor is it a peaceful quiet place.

The breakfast was really excellent. Good location, close to various shopping malls. We did not like the glass roof in room no 2, the family room. It made the room hot with full sunshine and very light while sleeping. The bathroom was problematic and in the middle of two rooms, dark and with no proper shelves for unpacking of toiletries. Not very private with the walk through to the second room. Poor television reception.
