Stayed for five nights in Club Exectuive which was fantastic. The staff were excellent and really helped to make the stay that much more enjoyable. They were very helpful when I was seeking advice regarding trips to make and always friendly and always smiling. They certainly made our first stay in Cape Town a very memorable experience and one that I am sure will be repeated. The hotel provided a half hourly shuttle bus both to and from the Victoria and Alfred waterfront - it was always on time and the drivers were very friendly and courteous. Couldn't fault anything at all.

Modern and clean facitilies, friendly and efficient staff, convenient V&A shuttle, a massage at the Arabella Spa on the top floor is highly recommended! Check your final room bill at check out. Our bill included drinks from the mini bar which we hadn't consumed.

Great hotel, clean rooms, nice position, good breakfast, sauna with view on the ocean and the city. Just the swimming pool, it's really small for such a hotel.

I enjoyed how quickly and well the rooms cleaned. As wel as the service where they help any booking that one needs I.E. booking a trip to Robben Island and the Table Mountain. The service at the dining hall was not consistent. On certain days it would be good and on others it will be dismal.

We choose the Westin because of the brand and reputation and it was cheaper than those hotels near V&A waterfront. It was convenient too to walk to V&A from hotel if the shuttle bus was not in operation during morning/lunch/dinner break. Everything was as expected from the comfort of the bed to the breakfast. They did not provide vanity kit for the bathroom which was unusual. They actually have them packed and you have to ask for it from the housekeeping team. We didn't have a happy front desk lady upon our early 5am check out. She looks like she was in a hurry to check us out (without a smile or asked how was the stay etc) when there was noone around in the lobby.

The location. The use of the spa was fantastic. We felt that one jacuzzi is not enough for such a big spa.The room we stayed in was defnitely prepared for one, not two guests.Only one bottle of water was put out.No menu/prices of the bar fridge , we could'nt open the fridge as well.

We were treated like royalty from the doorman to the lady who cleaned the room. I cannot wait to return! Have stayed at many Cape Town hotels, none of them compare with the service and quality of stay as the Westin!

Staff was helpful, great facilities, excellent rooms. Breakfast was one of the best ever. Had a little confusion on parking on busy morning. Convention Center attendants were not letting people in and pushing people to park at distant satellite lot. Westin staff could have coordinated better with Convention attendants as Westin garage was fine for guest parking. Not a big problem but lost about an hour.

Hotel's location is excellent. There is a straight connection(bridge) to cticc and straight views to Table mountain and Atlantic Ocean. Building is new, rooms spacius, lobby etc. imposing. Check in was a disaster. When you arrive middle of the night after travelling 24 hours and hotel says that they do not have any reservation for you that is not a pleasent supprise. Booking.com confirmed later that mistake was made by Westin Hotel. For some reason they had not booked the reservation fax delivered by Booking.com.

The location is good as it's just a walk to the city centre and the waterfront. The facilities are excellent and the staff are more than happy to help with anything. The only thing it is lacking is a place to sit out in the sun. There are seats outside but the sun doesn't hit this area in the afternoon.

Closeness to the ICC, during the Cape Town jazz festival. Charging R80 per day for use of the refrigerator in the room to chill the hot water provided in the rooms!!!!! The hotel is really over-priced.
