Beautiful place for a holiday.
Although we only stayed there one evening, the venue was beautiful
For a place to stop off over night, the room was satisfactory.
Finding the place was very difficult. There are no road signs or entries in multiple maps for the address supplied via booking.com. Room smelt of damp and could be seen on the bathroom ceiling and walls. We checked in in the evening and we not warned the walk to our room would entail walking across muddy and wet grass, plus loose stepping stones, all in the dark!
At a cost of over R1000.00 per night the unit was not serviced. The bath was so small my husband battled to fit in. No cloth was supplied to clean the bath. No shower. I will never return. I feel I was totally ripped off.
Rooms are spacious
Bathrooms are in serious need of upgrade. No where to put any personal belongs. Not even place to put soap when showering
A romantic site and aplace for a longer stay
Lovely chalet. Tame giraffe that we could stroke.
Directions on hotel site not updated off ramp off highway closed for prolonged period yet no alternative directions. When we phoned girl at reception did not know directions to advice. Can only see wildlife if you hire a quad bike no vehicles. Have to clean own chalet before departure which I think is unacceptable or pay extra. Girl at reception did not know if the restaurants was open.
Flxibility to provide accommodation at short notice. The food was excellent and the restaurant and bar staff were very friendly.
Additional blankets were not available while it was so cold and was not informed to bring own extra blankets
I really liked the 'family' atmosphere and all the caterings relating thereto. Everything was lovely and relaxing.
That I could not stay for a longer period!!!
