Everything! This was a superb offering. The limited number of DSTV channels. Too many foreign channels (although perfect for foreign guests). SA guests need more than one Sports channel.

The hotel was wonderfully relaxing with stunning views. There is a bistro and restuarant one can go to, so saves the trip into Stellenbosch. Of course a lovely wine tasting opportunity as well. I was with my older daughter and friends and we had a wonderful time.

The best bit about this hotel was that the staff at this hotel were all second to none, very well trained. The hotel was set in an amazing location with mountain views, and the rooms were spacious and well designed (feel of an old French vineyard, but modern well done rooms). The food in the restaurant was also very good, and served to an extremely high standard. Very close to Stellenbosch too...

I loved my stay at Asara. The staff was really friendly and the rooms was cleaned and comfortable. The view was amazing from the room. Me and my boyfriend had perfect weekend away and I could recommend Asara to anyone. The food was also nice and not to pricy.

The general ambiance and attention to detail is exceptional, the facility induces relaxation and a feeling of comfort. The room work station is extremely uncomfortable because the table is too low... The bar/lounge area staff tend to not be attentive to hotel guests

I loved the location. Beautiful lakes and vineyards with lots of bird viewing! Excellent value for money Restaurant closed early. Do not get the courtyard room because the view is ugly. Next time I would pay more for a better view.

Efficient staff, true 5-star feel down to the turn down service, posh accomodations and surroundings. Absolutely delicious breakfasts, great value for room service, and good wine. Distance from Stellenbosch itself and the price for late check-out.

After touring the Western Cape - We booked Asara for our last night in South Africa and what a great surprise- The staff where friendly and helpful -beautiful large rooms and a view over the pond and wineyard.... We arrived quite late and they kept the kitchen open for us to have dinner. We left with quite a few bottles of splendid wine in the suitcase and wonderful memories. Thank you

Beautiful surroundings, excellent welcome and service. Rooms were gorgeous and the whole estate was very well maintained. The on site restaurant was excellent (Raphaels) and was one of the best meals we had in South Africa The hot water in our room didnt work but this was quickly dealt with and the service was brilliant
