Very clean luxury accommodation Nice swimming pool
Room was still being cleaned on our arival .
needs more cutlery ,a micro wave and maybe a bigger table if u want to eat in the room
nice spacious room and great bathroom
no cleaning staff on 2nd day
beautiful design house
Noisy upstairs. One night there were load bedroom noises. A bit smelly getting to the rooms but room was good.
Modern comfortable rooms. Close to beach.
There's no daily full service of the rooms, only a simple toilet clean - would be nice to get the beds made.
Very good value for money. Bed shower and toilet facilities were great
Bed bugs. Room and bathroom needs a good clean. The shell of the building is great, but there is definitely no maintenance on anything.
Location is great
The tv channels I didnt like the ones they have wish they can add more channels.
The venue and the area just amazing and mostly the bed are too comfortable and clean.. I'll only suggest the bathroom they must put like soap.
There are no hangers in the cupboards to hang your clothes, better bring your own hangers. The tv has only one mnet channel, the rest is SABC. The passage to the room is too narrow, you battle to carry our luggage to the rooms and they do not have a porter to help with the luggage, it also become so tedious to carry your luggage to the rooms upstairs because there are no escalators. The housekeeper made my bed only twice out of the five days of my stay, the towels were also filthy. She does not sleep at the premises, therefore there is no way you can request clean linen or towels when you arrive back to the lodge from work to find the bed not made or the dirty room. Although it is a beautiful place, the owner needs to look at these issues in a serious light before he looses business
The venue is very close to the beach in a quiet upmarket street with excellent views overlooking the beach and the mountain
The room was spacious and clean. I loved the view
No maintenance on building
pigeons sitting on wall under veranda roof and cooing can they please cllose off the wall it was very disturbing no mention of self catering towels hanging on rails at reception
The rooms cleanliness
Passage very narrow and unlit. NO mirror in the room. Only in bathroom. No milk, shampoo, soap etc.
Location was great.
barking dogs, smelly reception (u would think it was a sushi bar
No smoking rooms.. Dstv is linked to the main house.. Only 1 Dstv channel, when they change the channel in the house, it also changes in the room..
It's situated in a great area.. Clean
No water Glasses Place was smelly all the time (not the rooms though) no breakfasts included at that rate Swimming pool is freezing cold
Close to the beach Neat en Upperclass
everthing the place is a disaster.
Dissapointed traveled from KZN not what i expected from the pictures on you site the place is not at all a inn it is a house that is badly run.
The place was filthy. Our room was not cleaned throughout our stay. We had to request towels and toilet paper. There was poor ventilation and no air conditioning- the room was as hot as hell. The bar fridge was out of order. The TV only had 3 channels and would randomly lose the satellite signal and thus our viewing was regularly interrupted. But most importantly they charged us for 4 days and yet we only stayed 3. We were told that no kind of refund could be given. The place was too uncomfortable for us for an extended stay. So we had to pay for an extra day. I would not recommend that place at all.
Helpful and friendly staff.
no bathtub, bathroom door does not close, TV reception unreliable, no crockery available, access to rooms from very very narrow outside passageway difficult to carry baggage thru. Dark and difficult at night. Very disappointing , ripoff accommodation with less than motel facilities and 5 star hotel tarrifs
The kitchen was dirty and smelt of Chinese take aways. The maid came in twice over 8 days - bad room service. Dirty ashtrays outside our rooms & dirty pool. Dirty ashtrays outside our rooms. No breakfast.
Location is good - but it's not right on the beach as the pictures show!!!
Their was no toiletries in The bathroom Was not neat. quarter Toilet roll no extra towels old empty shampoo bottle in the shower. Watery handwash.
Liked the Location Liked the room
- the bed wasn't clean and I needed him to ask to change - the balcony was very dirty and I needed to ask to clean - electricity problems, but not ehir fault
- free wifi - great bathroom - fridge in room
Room not cleaned properly. The room was accessed from outside/backdoor, and it felt like other parts of the house was not available for use.
Bed in room was good. The place is close (500 mts approx.) to public transport to Cape Town central. Free Parking.
There was no coffee, sugar and milk but a kettle. There was old marks on the table.
