    Staff were always at hand, nothing was to much of a problem

    The dinner menu did not change, not enough fish on the menu.

    Amazing location/ views/ comfortable beds/ great breakfast spread/ service was good

    smallish rooms/ seemed expensive compared to other luxury hotels that I've stayed at for the same price.

    The location of the hotel is fantastic, the facilities were great and their breakfast spread is always a winner!

    Since we were last there in 2012, the service has deteriorated heavily. The service desk initially struggled with putting through the authorisation, as one person had put through only enough for drinks while the second person didnt understand/know how to put through the balance. He just told us "it was done, dont worry about it" until two days later where a different staff member asked us why we hadnt had a full preauth put through!! We also struggled to find a waiter to assist us with coffee at breakfast, & when we did it eventually arrived cold! This was an everyday occurence! We also had a hard time with getting toothbrush (had to call twice) before someone to send a toothbrush up! Very dissapointed in the shoddy service as it was never like this before!

    I stay quite regularly and it is the great attitude/service of the staff that separate it from the competitors.

    the massage service is very good but I would prefer it if the hotel had a formal spa to go to

    Excellent service from all staff, doorman, porters, check-in staff, waiters and chamber maids, I hope they are well paid because they are damn good. Love the pool loungers and iced water jugs.

    The rooms are a bit tired. Windows on corridors are filthy, sorry net curtains don't hide that. Archaic shower arrangement, no matter what you do with the curtain the shower still leeks all over the floor, get rid of the baths and put in a proper shower, you'll save water too! The Beverly Hills was always painted white, the pink is just horrible. Breakfast arrangement a bit tacky, having to queue for eggs etc is not great and somehow those food warmers don't work, have a buffet for fruit, cereals, continental breakfast and a menu for cooked breakfast.

    The location on the beachfront is excellent. The roar of the Indian Ocean wonderful. The hotel is immaculately clean.

    Other than at check in (which was very smooth and trouble free), the service was hopeless. Well meaning and attentive yet unable to then do anything. The staff spent plenty of time asking if everything was "ok" yet seemed incapable of then actioning anything that was said to them. The three restaurant meals the service was worse than appalling. Slow to take order, forgot to action orders, seriously slow to bring meals ( I mean over 30 minutes) removing caulked wine and forgetting to replace it,slow to bring bills (the evening meal I was the only person left in the restaurant and the manager and 4 staff took 20 minutes to bring me the bill) etc etc. The meals were nothing special.The room was pretty small for the price. Overall I think this is a hotel trading on location (which is excellent) and past reputation. I will not be returning there

    Lovely location with amazing views, the staff were friendly and very well trained, the manager made us feel at home. We had an awesome stay, and will definitely stay again at this great hotel...

    Breakfasts were fabulous. View from our room was beautiful. Location on the shore walk was excellent for seeing the area, and it was close to town for a variety of restaurants. Staff was very helpful every time we had a question. Perfect place to recover from jet lag.

    The bar was closed for a private event. Eventually, we found out we could order from the bar in the lobby area, so it worked out.

    Friendly, efficient staff. clean room, comfortable bed and pillows. Beautiful view of the ocean and the lighthouse. great breakfast

    Stayed there for our first night! They did up the room and really made it special, rose petals, strawberries, etc! Great service! I'll definitely be going back there

    Its on the beach and direct access to the beach front walk. The ocean views. The friendly staff and excellent service. Food is divine! Reception at arrival awesome. Easy access to shops and entertainment close by.

    The carpets in the hallway on our floor needs either a good clean or to be replaced; but this was minor compared to the rest of the overall experience and cleanliness of the facility overall.

    The hotel wasn't aware of my booking and made me sit in Reception for over 30minutes while they tried to figure everything out. Completely disregarded the fact that it was 22h00 and I was vividly exhausted from travelling all day. Poor show. Also very surprised at the room and amenities for the high price paid. Definitely my last visit.

    Location next to the sea. Excellent breakfasts.

    Dinners not good. No spa. Rooms and bathrooms small. Not good value for money.
