Service Bar Rooms Buffet at night although limited selection was good value for money
Buffet Breakfast Food at breakfast is generally cold
the location is good
for a 4 star hotel the room smelt and it was not too clean. breakfast was also not a wide variety and I had to pay for certain coffees at breakfast.
Loved the location, great views of the lagoon…closer to the city centre, the beaches and shopping. Staff were friendly (Phumza deserves a mention, she made our stay). Nice vibe by the bar.
We were there for 3 nights, we found the room clean with only towels for 1 even thou it was a twin room, complimentary shower cap, gel and lotion were provided and other days nothing. Cleaning the following day was ok, not great. Sunday was a disaster, only our beds were made. Shower was as we left it. We also found our door was not pulled properly to lock. Breakfast was not so good for a 4 star. I would also like a bar fridge. R15 for an ice bucket is not acceptable.
The location and the view from some of the rooms
The view from my room and the fact that it was over priced.
The personnel was Really friendly! The surroundings were stunning. A lot of nature and the neighborhood excellent Security was perfect Free secure parking Bar and restaurant inside the hotel with a stunning terrace on the Laguna Privates access to the beach Balcony with a view on the Laguna Big apartment with kitchen ands 2 rooms
Noisy at Friday and Saturday if your room gives on the bar terrace AC a bit noisy
Its quiet, Breakfast and friendly staff. So helpful. Sometimes we tend to be too much, but they are well trained i must say. Big up.
Please include just one channel of Africa Magic. It must be diverse.
The facilities, swimming pool, lagoon, apartment
Cleaning service not too good.
The location of the hotel with easy access to the beach and river mouth and close proximity to shopping centres made my stay enjoyable.
Housekeeping is a bit sloppy. Clean towels and cups were not provided on the second day of the stay. Service at the hotel restaurant was the worst I have ever experienced since the end of apartheid in South Africa.
Friendly staff and great food.
Our only problem was the same breakfast every morning for six days.
The staff were receptive to our concerns and made the necessary arrangements to change the room initially allocated to us - the second room (C11) was much better.
On arrival at G10 it appeared to us that the room was for only 1 person (1 towel, 1 biscuit, 1 sweet on the bed). The G block was very noisy and it seemed as if all guests were located in the same block. At breakfast the poached eggs were 'hard' and the bacon was cold and tasted as if it was brought forward from the previous day....
bathroom had no toiletries or bathmat, no fridge in room, foodwise chicken was raw and steak was cremated
The highlander bar was a bit too close to reception and the dining room
