This elegant Cape Colonial house offers views over the Knysna Lagoon and the Heads. It features a saltwater pool surrounded by beautiful lush gardens and bougainvillea shrubs. All rooms at the Bridgewater Manor feature a private balcony with wrought iron furniture. The bright rooms include large windows overlooking the lagoon. The Bridgewater has a breakfast room opening onto the main patio. Guests can enjoy an English or continental breakfast while admiring the landscape. Located at the heart of the Garden Route, it is 1.5 km away from Knysna Heads and its hiking trails. Fabulous location, 1 min off the n2, with Vee as the perfect host. Helpful, knowledgable and uptone. Place is tastefully decorated, lovely job. You are amidst a beautiful setting in lush vegetation and a fantastic view on the lagoon. Rather no TV's than the midget dinos from 1990...;-) Flat screen is a must, although you wont be watching, there is too much to do around this breath taking scenery.

The room decor is mode and the view was awsome and felt like paradise, Vee the hostess was very freindly and pleasant. Breakfast was outstanding. We will be back , we highly recomend Bridgewater manor. That we did not stay longer,and having to leave.

Superb location, super clean well equiped rooms, fantastic views over the lagoon plus super breakfasts and friendly staff. Vee the manageress was helpful and entertaining. Nice pool Only small issue was the road noise from the N2 below.

Proprietor was very helpful in pointing out local attractions and (very good) restaurants. Spacious room and complete bathroom Fan in the room could benefit from a thourough cleaning. Other than this the room and bathroom were neat and clean

Stunning views from delightfully appointed rooms. Despite a rainy weekend in mid winter, the accommodation was warm with a fire going all day, a delicious breakfast and outstanding hostess to meet our every need. We are certainly returning.

Great house with a spectacular view. Beautiful rooms with very comfortable beds and all you need. Hostess Vi was very friendly and had lots of good suggestions about things to do in the area. I wish I did have the time to stay longer.
