Brighton Lodge    

We really enjoyed our stay there, everything excellent and the Breakfast was excellent couldn't be better.

We loved staying at the Brighton Lodge, where the staff were excellent and enjoyed our private garden.

We enjoyed our stay at Brighton Lodge. The rooms were a great value, especially considering a delicious breakfast was included in the cost. The location is amazing- tucked away in a very safe neighborhood within blocks of the beach!

It was convenient to the beach. It was clean, bright and airy. Staff were friendly, cheerful and helpful. We enjoyed our stay in Durban.

The room never match the money charged .it was rather depressing and to have such conditions on cancellation is ridiculous wen are not leaving in a static world things beyond your circumstances happen and you money must just be taken one hotel I will never recommend a person I felt it was money taken down the drain and wil never ever book through this service provider ever again . I am frequent traveller none of these have I ever experience actually I had to go to Durban to finish my holidays am here in mhlanga rock I don't regret event a cent I have spent the least I can say about pe the most depressing experience I have ever experience in my life of traveling.

Good location fair price

This hotel really thought of everything that you could possibly need or want in a room and then provided it. The mini fridge and bar had a large selection of drinks and snacks. The kitchenette had a microwave, can opener, wine opener, coffee and tea, and a small sink. Reception offered a wide selection of movies, and there was a list in the room, so you could make a selection. I could have stayed there for a week going to the beach and pool during the day and watching movies at night. The hotel also offered pool/beach towels that could be borrowed just outside of reception. All of these things are very nice touches for people traveling on a long holiday with a limited amount of packing space. We stayed in Room 208 - Animalia, which was gorgeous. I wanted to steal all of the furniture. AND there was Wi-Fi in the hotel room!! This is super rare in Africa. At least in all of the hotels we stayed in.

When traveling on a long holiday, we normally bring our own beverages and snacks. It would be nice to have the mini fridge empty, so that we could put our items in there. Having the option of whether or not to have the fridge filled would be nice. This is obviously a very small point. I really loved this hotel.

Great Staff. good position close to beaches.

Extremely helpful receptionist, good breakfast arranged for special time to catch flight, secure parking, nice setting very private.

The whole package was great. From the location, the reception, lovely room, and I can go on and on...

Nice room. It was a quick pit stop for us. Got in late & left early the next morning. very friendly staff.

Calm atmosphere and surroundings, safe, relaxing

Wonderful staff, everything you need including a fridge is available in the room. Great breakfast.

No shampoo in the bathroom, no view from the window. Not very spacious.

we were extreemly disappointed that this was a 4 star, and will also report this to the Star grading Council, Room is lovely full 4 star, very good bed clean. Bathroom, you cant swing a cat in there, the shower floor is dangerous, the "sliding door" is rotton at the bottom and far from being clean, such a pity as the rest of the lodge has such great potential.

Quiet location and very good service.

Reception was warm , friendly and efficient. Room comfortable and shower good.The breakfast was excellent and well propared. We were all very happy and will certainly return when next in P.E. Bernard Dudley

Seeing that it was a bitterly cold weekend, we really find it to be very comfortable, warm and private. We also find the accommodation secure and safe throughout our stay.

Maintenence in bathroom not 4 star. TV a problem cannot control via remote and only 4 channels which gets changed fregulary, and very noisy at night !!

Brighton Lodge exceeded our expectations. There is nothing we could fault them with. From the price, location, size, luxury, service, meals and all the extra's that this lodge offers we were extremely impressed.
