Great location and wonderful staff. Apartments very well equipped and huge comfortable beds. Excellent value for money especially as you can use vouchers towards meals in the good Italian restaurant round the corner and the facilities of the 5* Bay Hotel.

The 2 bedroom apartment was clean and comfortable. We had lovely views of the beach which was across the road. Lots of choice of places to eat and drink just down the street. For a young family it was ideal and it is only 10-15 minutes into town by taxi. The tour bus stops about 100 metres away which is a great way to see Cape Town and the immediate area...

Staff was helpful at all times. We had 2 bedroom apartment which was v well furnished and so comfortable with large kitchen. Amazing location in the heart of Camps bay few steps of bus stop and supermarket. All restaurants are just meters to left side. No telephone in the room each time need reception has to come down and go the front desk!! Wifi is expensive and should be for free.

Closeness to the beach and the beach side shopping mall. Stunning seaside view and sundowners. Unavailability of secure parking.

We had a two bedroom apartment - with a beautiful view of the ocean. We stayed four days - It was centrally located to all the places we wanted to go. We had a fully equipped kitchen with a grocery store just down the street - so it was fun to sometimes eat in, but there were lots of restaurants, so it was also nice that we could walk to eat out. We hung out at the pool up the street - pool wasn't very big, but it was nice to look out over the ocean while in the pool, and having drinks delivered to you - was fun. The staff was very helpful with suggestions and directions.

Close to the beach and main restaurants, cafes, clubs, the main street in Camps Bay. Good for a weekend or if you spend a lot of time outside the room or accommodation area which I would not call it a resort. It's more like a villa with a swimming pool and different rooms.Somehow it was at a fair price comparing with other places around. Main wish for me it was to be close to the sea and cafes. It has no view to the sea from no angle. It's situated in a few hundreds meters from the mail street but is behind other buildings which made the wish of laying in the sun by the pool not really a pleasure. The water in the swimming pool was very cold even if there were 27 degrees outside. Quite small "resort".

Front of house staff very friendly. Hotel had an unstuffy atmosphere. Location was good in terms of proximity to beach and main strip. Primi was consistently excellent and was a definite bonus. Check in procedure frustratingly slow. The fact that the extra bed we had asked for (this request had been acknowledged) had not been registered added to this frustration. The limited TV package and lack of WiFi were also negatives.

It was in easy walking distance from restaurants, security was good and the staff were friendly. Having a WiFi facility was also a great help. 1. there was no airconditioning 2. the choice of DSTV channels was very limited....no movies, food channel or any of the really interesting stuff

It is such a convenient location. The 2 bed 2 bath unit was modern and well furnished. The Theatre on the Bay was next door and the sho was hilarious. Traffic noise in early hours, and noisy party-goers. Drunked bergies on beach on Sat afternoon

The Location is fantastic (as we had a apartment with Ocean view). The room was very different in decor', (being an ex-actor's home) but felt luxurious, the room itself was clean and very well equipped although could have done with a touch up of paint in a few places but again it was clean!. The staff were especially helpful to cater for all your needs. I didn't like the fact you have to pay an extra 50 rand a night to park within the secure hotel car park - Although there was ample free street parking available in front of the hotel which we were told was safe enough. There were a few minor points ref. The rooms suitability for young children - The main adults bedroom was accessed via a spiral staircase which lead to a platform which had a single banister on one side, the platform itself was reasonably wide but there was a gap wide enough for an adult let alone a small child to fall through to the room below (about 3 meters fall) so if your children are prone to waking up in the night you have to leave a light on in the room for them to see the 3 meter gap. Don't let this put you off as the room is fantastic. Also no childrens tv channel is available in the room (you might consider this a plus!)

Camps Bay Resort is in an excellent location! It also has larger rooms/apartments that work well for families. We really enjoyed having an ocean view and being so close to everything in and around Cape Town.
