Score from 180 reviews Excellent
The walls of the rooms are too thin and we could hear people talking along the corridors, walking in and out of the rooms. Definitely not for light sleepers.
the location of the hotel as well as the sky bar facility
nothing during my stay
Location Security Parking & Valet Service Spacious Accommodation
Pool not heated Lack of Diversity in Food Choice
Nothing in particlar
Good size rooms
Rooms very bare very and empty
Fantastic staff, service and very friendly. Fantastic stay.
Staff attitude Location Luxury Independence
Location. Very friendly & helpful staff. The management & staff took full care of me during my paragliding accident. Lynn & Faldie from Jarat Tours. Hotel GM Mr. Van Bochove paid a courtesy call at my room to check on me, which was a wonderful gesture. Highly recommended.
No buffet at Banting restaurant.
Great location - easy walk (during the day) to the V&A Waterfront area. We received a very warm reception and were looked after incredibly well during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Just rather sad we were only staying one night. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to the Villa Louise, which was excellent. Breakfast in the Banting Kitchen was good and very reasonably priced. I'd thoroughly recommend a stay and we'd certainly look to stay again when we visit Cape Town.
v and a waterfront nearby. luxurious rooms, comfy beds, deep bath, great skybar. good restaurants and bars nearby
small issues..kitchen never had pots and pans, or dishwashing liquid or t-towels. the dryer never seemed to dry the clothes. but it didnt ruin the holiday
That it is conveniently located with all the luxuries of home
We didn't like leaving
Was misguided on the tour price , was told it would cost me 350.00 on the day I booked the day tour to Cape point , but my big shock and surprise was on when I was checking out when I saw the total bill and the price had changed to 3800.00 and I asked why . Then I was told it's cost a thousand rand but that's not what I was told she had said it's 380 but I will charge you 350 and did not say a thousand which is a big difference . So they misguided and were not clear in the first place , so that spoiled my whole stay.
Valet parking, free shuttle bus to major sites around the city. Good local advice also. Also the restaurant was excellent, great food and service
Wonderful staff could not be more helpful.
Room dark without a view
Location near good restaurants
Noisy , room wasn't complete , most of concierge don't now about the city ,
Good location. Wonderful reception area.
We paid for parking, however, there is simply never enough parking. The main bedroom - the bed does not have a head board. The furniture has cracks and chips. Not a 5 star hotel.
Location restaurants staff comfort size friendliness almost everything
having to order our crockery and corkscrew from reception as and when we needed it
Turn-down service at 4pm!!
We stayed in 2 bedroom suite, which was lovely furnished, spacious, very clean with lovely, convenient kitchen.Well equipped with excellent working internet.
All was great, but the lounge Caffè bar is a must.It would be great to have a cup of coffee or drink on arrival, unfortunately there is no such facility and the Caffè next door is not an answer neither a suitable alternative.
Trawling through the sites and finding this accommodation was the cherry on the pie. Staff were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Hotel is situated a 10 min walk from the V and A or a 50 Rand (£3) taxi ride which is advised at night.(it is Cape Town!) Daytime the area is busy and vibrant and ideally situated for anything and anywhere in Cape Town. The 2 bed we booked was upgraded to a 3 bed suite and was pristinely kept and managed. Views across the bay and stadium - 1st class. By chance the Marathon start and finish is directly in front of the hotel!. What a slice of luck that was!!!Not the cheapest accommodation but the value the Rand is currently affording the European currencies allows for that extra indulgence - highly recommended - you will not be dissapointed
Gymnasium was disappointing by most top hotel European standards but not of overly major concern. Internet access was limited to 1GB and then 300 Rand per day after which was not immediately understood or explained - nice to be away from internet for 1 day but unforeseen!
room was very quipped. the staff was very welcoming and helpful. 600 meters from V&A
bed was a little small and soft
everything this hotel was amazing!!!!!
I wished breakfast is included in accomodation price.
The staff (lobby and restaurant) were warm, welcoming and always ready to help. Rooms were HUGE and very tastefully furnished.
In-room wireless connection unreliable. Bedroom closest to the atrium lobby could be better soundproofed - kids got woken a few times by noisy guests returning to their rooms late at night.
