Seems to be miscommunication between the B&B's and Booking.com's booking system. My advice is to call up and confirm.
Really nice garden. Beautiful setting. Very nice and helpful staff - solution focused.
A Nice quiet location that I would certainly visit again.
It would have been difficult for a long stay without transport but we would stay here on a short visit again
Quiet off the beaten track location We only stayed for two nights to visit Cheetah Outreach and it suited us very well After initial glitches which the delightful staff quickly sorted out our stay was enjoyable
Friendly staff, full kitchen, free wifi, yard to play in, shower and bathtub, gated security, laundry service, alarm system, parking, cleaning service everyday but Sunday, braii facities at every cottage, air conditioning in every bedroom. The propane oven/stove was an adjustment, but it came in very handy during "load shedding". We were still able to cook food even when we didn't have power. (Note: it wasn't the cottages fault we didn't have power. The electric company cut power to the whole area.) This was a perfect place for a family to relax. I will definitely stay here again!
The comfortable bed with nice bedding. Place is neat and clean. Very friendly staff.
Mosquito's are problem so take your own repellent as not is provided.
The gardens are so well maintained and beautiful, perfect for a romantic stroll. The beds were sooooo comfortable and cozy. Loved that there were provisions made for load shedding times (lights).
Braaiing area needs more attention.the fact that they had my booking mixed up.
The swimming pool was amazing. The garden was beautiful for taking pictures. The parking area was good. The view was amazing, liked the quietness, and it was very private which was good.
We were 2 hours earlier and requested the lady by the name of Brigit to store luggage for us till the room was ready. She was so rude and pissed at in a sense that my girlfriend was scared of talking to her. So we waited 2 hours outside and she kept the gates locked and told us we will wait until the staff arrive. To make it worse she could not pick up the phone when we wanted to get ice from the fridge. She sounded very fed up and not in the mood.
The Duty Manager who worked on Saturday the 15th I think his name is Kevin was extra friendly and she went above and beyond our expectations.Place is in a good sport and very relaxing.
The room didn't have TV and at least a mini fridge
The cleanliness is so spot on,followup on stay, safety and the attention
The fact that I had to leave on sunday
The friendliness the kindness and love.the quietness, the garden the views was the ultimate.
tranquil beautiful surroundings. Excellent venue to entertain family and friends. Staff friendly and professional. From a S.A perspective value for money. Highly rcommended.
Perhaps we have become spoilt by the many places we've been to, but these are a few of the things we missed at Chelaya Lodge: 1. hair dryer 2. a rusk or two and milk to go with our morning coffee 3. drinking water (the Duty Manager informed us that the water from the borehole may cause - as it apparently did in others - some physical discomfort such as an upset stomach).
We were very happy with the venue, its beautiful garden and tranquility, although our visit was too brief (one night) to enjoy all the venue had to offer.
peaceful, pleasant location. spacious accommodation.
