Love the rooms and bathrooms.

Standard of food is not great - not much choice

The breakfast selection is very poor. One expects to have cold meat, smoked salmon etc as part of their breakfast at a 4 star hotel. There wasn't even a piece of ham for breakfast.

Rooms where spacious and clean.Food was excellent and the service from the waitor/s was top notch.

Reception staff could learn a thing about customer service from the waitors.I Had complained about a few lights not working and the tap that was attached to the basin was broken but it never got attended to during the duration of my stay.

The service is excellent as is the food and the rooms.

Small things that I have complained about before- no cold water and ice in the rooms. Please put a warning in the drawer above the bar fridge that this drawer becomes like an over so do not put anything in there that can melt.

Gordan at the restaurant was very friendly. The Beautiful view.

Long time to get service. Lack of options at the bar. Empty bar fridge. Dirty windows. Tv that fails to work. Not enough coffee/milk/sugar sachets. Shower gel not replaced once used up. &Quot;Do not Disturb" sign falls off door handle. Room not redone by the afternoon. No whiskey glasses at bar (used up for function). No wine/whisky glasses in room. Tiny coffee cups. Unfriendly front desk.

I loved the room and the breakfast was great.

We had to phone four times to try and get a food menu for the room. It only came once i went and bought take out.We phoned three times to get dessert for the room which never came. I had to go down to reception and speak to the F & B manageress in order for me to get the dessert.

Big comfortable bathrooms n beds.

Parking tickets a problem,for guest .... InconvenientBhamjee to go to the 4th floor to have it stamped every time you go out. Didn't have a do not disturb/make up the room sign on the door for the last 4 days. As a result cleaning staff used to knock on the door very early (disturbance) to find out if they could make up the room. Dissapointed that there weren't hoses for the toilets. Had to wait a while for lifts ... Sometimes.

Certain sort of service was great , My breakfast service was fantastic with the staff around and they assistance.

I arrived early in durban and called the Hotel for an early booking if possible , I understood there wasn't any rooms available , However there was no effort in trying to arrange one for me or give me a call once a room was ready knowing that I called . When I booked the room I requested for a certain bed and was not done , They had to convert the room while I was in there and did not offer to move me to another room that had what I wanted. I requested for a porter to take my bags up , I waited 20 mins and thereafter i had to take the bags up myself . The porter only got to me on my way up. There responce time when called for something would only take place after i make the 2nd or 3rd call , the lighten in the place was poor , especially when certain lights was not working.

The rooms are modern and spacious. The hotel is nicely sittuated and nice seaviews from dining area

Seafood buffet and food was realy nice but service levels was not always the same with waiters

Buffet Breakfast was 't on par Black interior designed suites - made me want to escape from my room. Staff were unexperienced Not a 4 star quality hotel

Service received from the staff members was below par in all aspects - very disappointed. Won't recommend or return to the hotel in a hurry
