The peace and tranquility. The place wasn't overcrowded, we just wanted to get away from the hustle of our busy lives. Love the decor! Good quality mattress! Excellent food! Jacques, the manager is very friendly.
Manager distant and seemed distracted. Not very friendly or helpful in booking activities.
Friendly staff. Value for money. Excellent atmosphere. Great host.
Very nice and helpfull staff. Nice rooms and excelent food
Over priced and service was bad. R125 for a poor breakfast was just not acceptable
Great view; beautiful lodge; we had very good dinner and breakfast near the pool with a great view on the park; very comfortable room
Wi-fi connection not available after 8 o'clock in the evening; staying only for one night.
We stayed for four nights and enjoyed every second of our stay. The room was clean and comfortable with a view over the Crocodile river from our Balcony. The viewing veranda was a great place to sit with a drink and watch rhino walking down the river bed one evening. We also did 2 full day safari with the Lodge and they were awesome, we saw all of the big 5 (including the elusive leopard) and lots more besides, highly recommended. The Boma evening was lots of fun and Jacques and his staff are so attentive and caring that it was a great experience and one we hope to relive next year.
Absolutely nothing to dislike
This is the best place to start your adventure in the Kruger! The place is amazing with even animals around, on the other side of the river we saw a Rhino in the morning! We arrived late, and the friendly staff (i forgot his name, think something wit a S) gave us some real good information for our days in the Kruger! We didn't have much time in the lodge but its amazingly beautiful!
There is not much not to like here!
Most friendly and helpful staff Activities are very value for money Great location where we were able to spot elephants drinking in the Crocodile River from our room balcony
Our stay was too short

Excellent location and a great deal of effort in providing entertainment for the guests at the Boma evening and dining under the stars was great.

It was a nice, small yet cozy place for anyone visiting Kruger.
The staff were very helpful and friendly without being in our way! Accomodation was lovely excellent holiday venue! Fantastic value for money!
Spacious house with various sitting out options.
Rat droppings in cupboard, old television, dirty blankets.
The staff was excellent!
We LOVED Crocodile Kruger and would highly recommend anyone wanting a truly African Experience. Our Full day Safari was everything we had ever dreamed of and Frankie was AWESOME!!! We started planning a trip back as soon as we left.
The staff were very friendly, helpful and smiling. Facility to Safari tour with (Franky) our guide, a very informative and polite guy. The location are just perfect, amazing view over crocodile river. African style, convenient room. The food was delicious and plenty of drinks over the bar.
No TV, No Wifi in the room.
Location is fantastic as you can sit on the terrace and enjoy animal sightings in crocodile river bed.the rooms are small and quite nicely decorated.we also liked the different locations for dinner as there are boma nights, dinners inside (when rainy) and dinner on the terrace overlooking the river bed. WLAN was workin properly, though only in the public Areas (which didn´t bother us).the personell is really friendly - especially one of the guys, who originated from Swaziland- he gave us interesting Information, was always around taking care of the guests and got everything organised whenever needed, a gem of the lodge.
there are signs missing to find the lodge- is really hard, as there are no indications apart from the one on the main road. cleaning should be taken more seriously, our room as well as one of other guests needed some more care taking after complaints. Breakfast: the hot breakfast was fanatsic but the cold items could be more varied. All in all a mixed experience - and there is room for improvement at such a special Location.
We had a wonderful time a cksl. Magnificent setting in the middle of the bush. Dinners were had every night under the stars. The food was excellent. We stayed in the self catering room which was extremely comfortable. Management was outstanding and gave attention to our every want and need. I would highly recommend
Inside marloth there is a sign directing you to cksl. However this sign takes you through a dirt road which has been washed away and difficult to drive in a sedan. There is a much easier way to get to the hotel but it is not sign posted. Management should update the signs. Tv channels were Limited - there were only 2 dstv channels. However management were very obliging to change the dstv channels to whatever we wanted to watch
