very friendly owners and staff!! We love the garden and the kitchen
A great hide. Family run B and B , excellent service and facilities. Amazing evening meals and very accommodating staff where nothing is a problem. Brilliant location just outside Paarl. If your in the area it's a must
A little hard to locate but worth it
Very welcoming and helpful
Bedroom very dark needs modernising.
Very good location, close to Paarl and Stellenbosch. The best food that we've eaten during two weeks in South Africa!
Breakfast - choice of in the sun or in the shadow. The dinner was nice as well. Beautiful garden. Excellent: our dirty car had been washed by the staff (complementary).
No view to the surrounding mountains.
Very special to us seems that the whole familiy was looking after us, we felt very much at home. They turned the former buildings in such a wonderful guest house with a very helpful and friendly staff. Congratulations.
Loved absolutely everything. Just sad that we only had two nights there!
The breakfast was very good and the accommodations charming.
Staff is very helpful and friendly, very good breakfast, rooms are ample and comfortable. All very well-kept and very clean. The property is really charming in Cape Dutch style.
Nothing worth mentioning, really.
Of all B&B (and I've been to a LOT) this is by far the best value for money!!! The friendly, competent staff. The authentic atmosphere of the oldCape farmhouse and guest rooms. All rooms are very well maintained. The modern techniques and innovations like sun energy and hot water solar panels, which are subtly integrated, to make my stay very very comfortable. The fast, reliable wifi. The impressive breakfast
That I only had time to stay for 1 night. With this B&B you feel bad you have to leave
Wonderful family -run guesthouse.
From the moment we arrived, we felt like part of the family. Teesha and the dogs greeted us and showed us to our room. With a large sliding door onto our private patio and looking over the main courtyard of the working estate, our finely appointed room was rustic and beautiful. We were delighted to take part in the Saturday evening BRI which included grilled sausages, lamb, beef and chicken along with homemades salads and wine. Delicious. The tour of the working farm was insightful and enjoyable. This is a gem of a spot that you won't want to miss
We couldn't stay longer than one night.
Nice location with a relaxing pool after a long day of tiering winetasting that was very pleasant. The set three course dinner was well composed and very tasty. We were however avsked to pay more than our internet booking which was a bit bitter. Took away some of the joy...
Beautiful place, spacious room and bathroom.
Dinner was really expensive.
Very well run family business. educational tour of the working farm by the owner was very nice. Very good food and breakfast buffet .
Daan and his family were so friendly and helpful and also very interesting. All the staff were welcoming and efficient.
Great staff. Lovely location Terrific food Very quiet Great place to relax and a convenient base to explore the wine country
Very personal, lovely staff and owners very dedicatred to guests, such a beautiful place!!
Really friendly owner and guest repore. Service was good.
We would not rate it a 5 star... more like 4 in comfort.
The setting and the friendly staff The pool and restaurant Breakfasts
Warmhearted family. Excellent staff. Perfect breakfast. Delicious dinner. Very good room comfort. Value for money. Easy going but perfect hosts..
Acces to Wi-Fi in our bungalow was not perfect, because it was the one that was most far away from reception probably. But this was really the only complain.
We had a great time at the Leeuwenhof, great staff excellent food and comfort. The estate is really giving you a good holliday feeling. Management and staff is really succefull in giving you a great time. Don't forget to participate on the farm tour, where Daan, the owner, is showing you a real part of his farm and family life in SA. We will surttanly go back and visiting the Leeuwenhoek again.
Terrific place with very concerned management and staff who took time with you. Very, very relaxing. Perfect environment for us.
Superb B&B, a little outside of the action Stellenbosch...Great room, very friendly and helpful owners, nice pool, relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed the 3-course diner twice with some excellent wines and it just couldn't be better :-) Thanks and we will be back !!!
Breakfast could be a little more varying...but that's just a European taste...
