De Old Drift Guest Farm    

Beautiful setting. Just 10 miles from the entrance to Addo elephant park. A working citrus farm. The owners and staff were very helpful in booking safaris and organising evening meal at a local restaurant although when busy they serve meals themselves in their very vice restaurant. Breakfast was very good. In short great value for money.

Lovely place, very charming hosts who really went out of their way to help us. Great place to stay for trips to Addo. Option to dine on site was a great idea.

Every effort was made to make guests comfortable and make the most of their stay. The grounds were beautiful and everything was very well kept. It did really feel like a home from home experience.

Willingness to provide info on the Addo Park area and to make arrangements for us that were not 'normal'. Their suggestion for an alternative private game reserve (Schotia) tour proved beyond amazing!!!

The location was quiet, suitable for mature couples. The cottage we stayed in was generous in space and well stocked. The beds were large and the duvets were excellent. The pool was also excellent. The breakfasts excellent. Steffi was very helpful.

The only thing that was not good was that when we had evening on the second night with all the other guests it was very erratic! We were told 7ish and it ended up being over 2 hours for bread (1st course) then salad (2nd course) then barbecue meat which was tough (3rd course) and veggies which had been standing too long. The only redeeming feature was that the lemon ice cream was delicious, but we were on a citrus farm! Bit like a circus really!

Very friendly and helpful owners. Nice environment - the whole place is built right next to a lemon orchard. Very calm and comfortable location close to Addo Elephant park and other reserves. Super safe.

Very nice and spacious room with en-suite and self-catering facilities. Location was very close to Addo Game Reserve and set within farmland so very relaxing. Owners were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

The room was self-catering, with everything one needs to cook and have a proper meal. The bathroom is big, as the room, and very clean. There was a stereo available, but not working. The stay was short, but very comfortable. They have nice, friendly dogs, and a beautiful garden and pool. There was breakfast and dinner available on extra charge, but we didn't try it.

The wi-fi internet was only available very close to the house of the owners, and very poor. We had to stay connected much longer than we wanted because everything took so long to load. And they charge every minute. Plus, we had no privacity in talking at skype.

This was by far our favorite b&b during our three week trip trough South Africa! The owners are very friendly and helpfull and have an eye for the small details to make your stay perfect. There are several different rooms available, when we left the owners just finished a new and very large 1 bedroom appartment (6 beds in total, two in the living room and 4 in the bedroom) with two bathrooms and a fully equiped kitchen for families or groups of friends. Breakfast and dinner are great! Really felt like home!

The spacious self catering room was spotless. The hostess was warm and welcoming and wanted to help make our short stay as good as possible. This accommodation was rated 3 star, in our opinion it should be more!
