We have been renting two different flats. One of them was expensive, with a "waterhole" being a pool (??) and with toilets within the sleeping room. How surprising! I am quiet disapointed considering the cost of the room (1900 rands per day)

The Loaderstreet 32 is a nice place for a stay in Cape Town. The village is great and the style of the house is very good. The service is helpful. The view over the city and the tablemountain is aweresome. The atmosphere in the whole area is very sympatic. We loved our short stay in De Waterkant Cottages. The service could not manage all our problems. For example the wifi was not working during our stay and couldn't be organized. The cleanness is not perfect and the houses condition is that you are sure that there will be renovation necessary very soon. I am not able to write it in short words in english but for example the roof deck was filled with loose floor tiles or the blinds in one room was broken and so on. If you will stay longer in a hot period there will be more problems.

I just loved the way the owner utilised the simple spaces and made the cottage appear so spacious. I will definitely take the same cottage whenever I need another weekend break. I have recommended this site as well as the cottage to all of my friends and family living in and around Cape Town as well as those living up country and abroad. My kids loved the experience. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Meget morsomt designet hus i et veldig hyggelig,trygt område med mange hyggelige mennesker.Sentral beliggenhet i forhold til Waterfront og Cape Town forøvrig. Jeg vil komme tilbake og bo her også neste gang jeg kommer til Cape Town

Unser Three Bedroom House hatte viele Annehmlichkeiten, wie z.B. eine gut ausgestattete Küche, Satelittenfernsehen und einen Terassenpool. Eines der Schlafzimmer hatte sogar einen Whirlpool. Das Haus war sehr sauber und wurde täglich gewartet. Die Garageneinfahrt war für einen Minivan zu klein und Parkmöglichkeiten vor dem Haus waren sehr beschränkt.

Das Haus hat 4 Schlafzimmer (alle mit eigenem Bad/Toilette) und einen grossen Aufenthaltsraum mit Küche. Zwei Zimmer haben ein Doppelbett und die anderen Unterkünfte sind Zweibettzimmer. Die Ausstattung des Hauses war überdurchschnittlich (sehr positiv die Küche). Die Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt. Ideal für eine grosse Familie, oder Urlaub mit Freunden. Die Lage war ebenfalls sehr gut: in Gehweite befanden sich mehrere Restaurants und ein Supermarkt für Selbstversorger. Das Haus hat keinen eigenen Parkplatz und die Parkmöglichkeiten in der etwas engen Strasse sind begrenzt.

Wir wohnten in 23 Loader Street, einer unglaublichen Wohnung: auf 140m² gibt es alles was man braucht und mehr: im Erdgeschoss ein offener Wohn- Essbereich mit angrenzender vollausgestatteter Küche (inkl. Wachmaschine & Trockner) sowie einem Gäste-WC und Abstellraum inkl. Tresor. Im ersten Stock das tolle Bad mit Wanne und Tageslichtdusche sowie das Schlafzimmer mit Terrasse. Von dieser geht es dann zum absoluten Highlight, der Dachterrasse mit Whirlpool und direktem Blick auf den Tafelberg. Von der Wohnung sind es ca. 2 km bis zur Waterfront und es war sehr sicher, da stets Sicherheitsleute im Viertel zu sehen waren. Das einzige was uns etwas überforderte waren die ganzen Lichtschalter sowie die vielen Fernbedienungen ;-) Die Schlüssel holt man im Büro um die Ecke und die Wohnung beinhaltete einen Hausservice. Parken kann man direkt an der Straße. 23 Loader Street hat leider keine eigene Garage, daher parkt man an der Straße vor dem Haus. Abends mußte man daher erstmal nach einem Parkplatz suchen.

Thank You very much, villa was spacious and area was safe and friendly. Villa was nicest ever, shops and restaurants were near. Cottage's staff was very nice and helpful. Everything was superior!

Via de Waterkant Cottages heb je een eigen huis in een fantastisch leuke en veilige wijk van Kaapstad voor een prijs waarvoor het zelfs moeilijk is een goed hotel te vinden. De huizen zijn ruim, schoon en modern en liggen in een wijk met veel leuke eetgelegenheden die, zeker voor Nederlandse begrippen, erg goedkoop zijn. Met 2 personen uit eten voor EUR 45. In het laagseizoen ontbijt voor EUR 2, etc.
