We were greated by very friendly owners. They were very smiling and had a simple approche who made us feel very at ease. The location is fantastic ; the just balance between being in town and enjoying the sea.
feel like home
View of the ocean from a lovely relaxing lounge/dining room. Staff (Owners) were very friendly without overdoing it.
No table in the room to work at, had to work in the public lounge. Street parking.
Location Super friendly owners Cleanliness Homey atmosphere
Small room , small bathroom , odd shape
Location is great. Sandra and Mullen are marvelous owners/hosts. "Tailor made" breakfast , very tasty. Cozy, homey place to stay.
If you are allergic for cats??..... there is a cat.
Great localities. Great staff. It was the best option for us. For that price we got a 5 stars service.
Location, all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, breafasts were plentiful and a great base to visit a wonderful city.
Sky diving out the lounge window ( joke )
Sandra and Mullen managing the guest house at this time could not do enough for us. Especially as we had arrived minus our luggage. Warm jackets were provided plus a glass of wine with them on their balcony to see the amazing sunset. They also managed to find us a room again for out last night in CPT and made us very welcome like long lost friends.
The sunrise and sunset, walk along the sea, simple and clean bed rooms, quiet night. The owner went to the airport to fetch our luggage that came one day later free of cost, dropped us to the airport at 0430 with reasonable price...a nice cat
Special care and touch for everything, including collection of delayed luggage at the airport, early transfer to the airport and special attention to us everyday
The Ocean View
Small room, no air conditioner and no sport channels
We booked the deluxe suite for one night to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Neither of us likes big hotels and the Dolphin Inn was just what we were looking for. It really lived up to our expectations - a stunning room overlooking the sea, and an easy walk to the V&A Waterfront (short taxi ride back at night). The owners were away, and Mullen and Sandra, who were hosting in their absence, were incredibly helpful and couldn't do enough for us. We were delighted with our stay.
One minor comment is that we got the impression from the website that breakfast could be served on the balcony in our room, but this option wasn't available. However, breakfast was a cheery affair downstairs, and this wasn't really a probem.
Slept like a baby. The place was alsoperfectly located to the start of Cape Town City Marathon which was the reason for stay.
Our stay in the Oceanview deluxe Suite was awesome. The room is comfortable with a perfect ocean view. Paul and Tanja are lovley and do a perfect service. We'll come again.
The friendly atmosphere and the household cat reminds me of mine at home. The breakfast is also good.
Cang.not think of anythin
The location was excellent. Walking distance to restaurants, V&A waterfront, hop 'n go bus. Also the room had a wonderful balcony that we could watch the sunset from and enjoy a glass of wine. Perfect ending to several perfect days!
Sandra and Mullen were absolutely amazing hosts with quite the wit. Very helpful and took care of all our needs. I would return again if I get a chance to visit Cape Town again. Love it .
Very friendly and home-like atmosphere. Excellent location. Thanks for enjoyable stay.
Very friendly owners / managers, offered airport and downtown taxi service for a reasonable amount. Breakfast was home cooked and delicious. Rooms are clean and comfy. Location is awesome, right at the beach, 10 mins walk to Waterfront. Will be back for sure!
The warm welcome and constant help, the location...
Family feeling about the place, lovely breakfast spot and good food.
Room was exceptionally small with absolutely no drawers or cupboards.
It was very homely, like joining the couple in their home - eating round the kitchen table
Everything was vey nice, a home away from home tbh. Had an amazing weekend and The dolphin added to that. The Waterfront is 10 minutes walk and there are some shops and pubs even closer than that. The walk along the sea is beautiful too!
great location on the seafront walking distance to the V&A. excellent home cooked breakfast.
