Close to beach, homely environment, breakfast was excellent
The view from our room was incredible
Beautiful bedroom, lovely view, very helpful staff, good location, classy set up
lovely view from the room. Parking within the premises.
Bathroom needed modernizing.
The B&B was great value for money. The room had a sea view and was extremely spacious, with a fabulous bathroom. The staff were attentive & friendly. The breakfast was lovely. It was a good choice for an overnight stay, but it would have merited a longer stay to explore Mossel Bay.
The cleaning lady did not change our sheets for 3 days - that was a disappointment.
Beautiful location and very helpful and friendly staff. We had the most beautiful view from our room and the food was good choice and cooked to likeing.
I found it difficult to find any fault with this property
Maybe some planning around the toast at breakfast time
I like staying there, but
When I made the booking initially, I said I would like to stay in the same room which we stayed in before, which had a beautiful sea view, but if I could not get that one I would like to stay in a similar room to the one we stayed in. This was not the case, I was on the ground floor in room 1, right next to reception, with a seaview out of the side window. The receptionist still argued with me. The room I was in, this last weekend, was nice, but the point is when I made the booking in December (I think), no one reverted to say that room was not available and that I would be downstairs. Surely if u could not accommodate me in the same facility, common courtesy would be to call me and discuss first. I was quite disappointed when I arrived there and to be honest, I don't think I will stay there again next time. It has left a bad taste in my mouth and all this could have been avoided by discussing with me in advance. I found the receptionist arrogant as well. She suggested she could arrange accommodation elsewhere but as I said to her we had been travelling all day on motorcycles, all I wanted to do was relax, so we left things at that. I am disappointed though.
Attitude of staff. Awesome!
Friendliness of staff and the view from our room, which was large and comfortable.
No lock up garages
Almost everything, had I had a choice I wouldnt have stayed there...for the price its not worth it. Breakfast poor for a B&B
Very good breakfast and nice rooms
cordial breakfast cook and service
lobby unattended in evening - poor lighting in rooms and common space
Breakfast was nice
The guest house was nice, but not as welcoming as others along the garden route
The breakfast and the people where very friendly and will to help at all times.
the room, the bathtub, the breakfast and the overall atmosphere
the wifi was not strong enough to reach in the room
I haved book ths room, but i arrived here for checkin. This is no available room for me,so i have to leave and go to other hotel.Edward Charles Manor say they never charge my card,Unfortunately i was charged R980.Please advise.
The room with a gorgeous view to the sea was excellent!
Well situated and very friendly and helpful staff.
value for money good location
We had two nice rooms, one with balcony overlooking sea and pool area. The brekfast was really well cooked and the staff were really nice. Also big thanks for letting drop some bags off early.
Minor point ref room 1 chain to turn on fan rattles against fan as revolves, so a bit noisy at night. However easy to fix and did not spoil our enjoyable stay.
The location, which overlooks the sea.
The bathroom of Room No. 1, where I stayed, is unbelievably small and it is extremely comfortable. The room size is also small.
Walk up the hill from town
Not a lot
