Nestled amongst vineyards at the foot of Helderberg Mountain, near Stellenbosch, the Eikendal Lodge features lush gardens and a pool. Guests have also the possibility to meet cheetah cubs on the premises. Featuring a private patio or terrace with views over the garden and the mountains, the rooms and suites at the Eikendal are elegantly decorated. They all have a seating area and a granite bathroom. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. On request, guests can enjoy lunch and dinner, accompanied with a fine wine from Eikendal’s own production. Breakfast can be either continental buffet style, or full English. Cellar tours and wine tastings are also available. The Willie Haas Veterinary Clinic is located on the premises and guests can meet the cheetah cubs once a week. The property also offers a wide range of activities, from grape picking to a fly fishing clinic with experienced professionals. Stellenbosch is 15 km away, whilst Franschhoek is 30 km away. Very friendly and well run, relaxing and informal luxury. Free drinks and nibbles in the early evening was fun. Nothing - all was fine. Jack the dog was a bit fat though.

Beautiful country home surrounded by gardens. Spacious room with back patio looking out on mountain and fields. Very quiet. Amazing breakfast selection with all top quality ingredients. Very helpful host.

The scenery, the lovely rooms, wine tasting, friendly staff, wonderful and thoughtful service, excellent breakdast, relaxing. atmosphere. Appeciated that the staff booked a dinner reservation for us the night we arrived in case we hadn't any other plans. Pillows could have been a bit softer.

Fantastisk bra service från ägare och all personal. Bra läge - mitt i vingården ! Relativt dyrt jmf ,ed andra dito boenden i Stellenbosch.
