Kleinmond is a quaint town with a lovely beach.
Kleinmond is a quaint town with a lovely beach. Locals are friendly and eager to help. It has interesting shops and good restaurants, especially near the old harbour. We had an incredible meal at KabelJoe's and hot, fresh fish and chips at Vannie Hoek Fish Market. You can enjoy eating it in an authentic small fishing boat while watching the waves break against the rocks at the old harbour. Don't forget the ice cream next door!

There are lovely coastal walks and stunning hikes in the mountains all around. It's close to Hermanus, as well as several farm stalls. It's a clean and neat little town, with a couple of nice restaurants, bookshops and the best fabric store I've even been into!SusanSouth Africa - 10Scored 10

Kleinmond is one of my favourite places outside of Cape Town. Usually, we come here 2 to 3 times a year for camping at the Palmiet Lagoon. The harbour is small, but beautiful with restaurants and little local shops.

When we booked Klein Monde Guesthouse, we thought it was going to be a single apartment. What we received was a whole house, complete with 4 bedrooms and en-suites to three of the rooms. It was really cold that weekend and sadly there were no electric blankets or heaters in the house although there were hot water bottles provided. Overall the stay was really nice, the house is beautiful and location is peaceful. I will definitely be booking again, maybe next time for a much longer period.M. ShamielSouth Africa - 10Scored 10

Nice drive from Gordon's Bay route around the beach.
Nice drive from Gordon's Bay route around the beach. Dont forget to stop by Stony point to have a look @ penguins. Enjoyed horse riding at Hankip on your way to Botriver, very affordable. Hermanus has a new habour, its happening, lits lit. Kleinmond has a lagoon, hire a boat they will assist you paddle. I enjoyed the park that is next to the beach, where u can have some family time, braai and play

Stones throw from the ocean, a short commute between Betty’s Bay and Kleinmond, and all necessary amenities close by. The room I stayed in was in perfect condition, with a stunning view out the front window as well. My hosts were absolutely brilliant! Going far above and beyond to accommodate me, and even going the extra mile to make sure I arrived safely to my event when my cab cancelled last minute. We were there during the storm and when we booked out on the Monday he said we are welcome to come back if the roads were closed which was the case. Tom accompanied is for another night without wanting to accept payment for the night. The view, the apartment, everything was exceptional. We will stay at no other place in future in Kleinmond.
