“ The staff were excellent. However the furniture , fittings , bathooms etc were clean but old and worn. In need of replacement and upgrade. We felt cheated as the internet pics were very deceiving ,portraying a luxurious upmarket venue, instead everything is old and worn out. ”

the rooms were clean and the staff friendly the hotel needs plenty of work done on general upkeep, the noise levels of other guests is unacceptable for a hotel, as the braai around the pool and party on their patios and all cabanas face the pool. If i had been alone with my girls i would not have felt comfortable staying there, i feel its very much a backpackers kind of hotel for young couples who just want cheap accommodation. I would not use it again.

The staff were excellent. However the furniture , fittings , bathooms etc were clean but old and worn. In need of replacement and upgrade. We felt cheated as the internet pics were very deceiving ,portraying a luxurious upmarket venue, instead everything is old and worn out. The veneer coming off the furniture , carpets worn. Bathroom fittings worn and taps mismatched. Tiles broken, damp in bedroom cupboard , aircon not working , tv channels not working. We want our money back. The staff really tried their best. The noize level from other guests were unbearable. The wet laundry on the grass around the pool from the other guests were qute unsightly. Size xxxx nylon underwear is most off putting. We got out of there asap.

The pool was as it was in the picture. They messed up our booking and tried to make up for it by adding another bed. But two adults with a baby in a double bed was very uncomfortable. We requested to be changed to another room with a Kingsize bed which we told had not yet received their guests. But we were told that the guests whom had not yet arrived would know which room they would be allocated to. What hogwash! They obviously had no intention of accomodating our request despite us making these bookings through Booking.com. Booking.com unfortunately you are not as well-respected as you would like to believe. Breakfast was also a shambles. If it wasn't real, it could actually pass for a comedy. But the service really wasn't funny.

The hotel reception was not friendly. I requested an invoice upon arrival and the lady promised to have it ready for me when I checked out. Well guess what when I checked out it wasnt ready. The room and bathroom were dirty and untidy. The bed looked like it had been slept in before we arrived. It wasnt well made. The carpets in the rooms and in the passage were dirty. The passage leading to the room was dark. Walking to the parking is unsafe and dark. There are stray cats in the premises and nothing is done about it. I walked in the reception area after going out for dinner and there was no one at reception and I just walked through to my room without anyone asking who I am. That was a serious security concern for me. It was definately not a pleasure staying at that hotel.
