Such a beautiful place! Helpfull staff. Great location. We would go again.
The wifi never worked on the guesthouse side. The breakfast was quite lame. Toast and jam, fruit and coffee. Nothing special.
Beautiful property. Right next to the Botanical gardens, this was good, as only breakfasts are served at the establishment, so a quick 2 min walk to the US botanical gardens took care of lunch.
Pictures on Booking.com gives the impression that the unit is next to a dam, with meadows as a view, This is not the case, rather its located within a residential area, and this is great, but the wrong perception was created.
Rooms were large sizes with high ceilings Modern airconditioning Large bathrooms Walled pretty garden with pool Breakfast in conservatory with view onto garden
Every day I had less towels and by day 3 I had no hand towels or floor towel
The staff are fantastic.
This is by no means a 5 star establishment. Our room had one tiny window above the door; no windows in bathroom and extractor fan broken. The wooden toilet seat was badly cracked - very unhygienic. The bath and basins need re-enamelling. The wooden floor had a hole in it and the bed was a wooden slatted bed with a very old sprung mattress.
pictures on website do not match reality. Breakfast service poor and rooms small!
The room was big, super comfy with lovely high ceilings and appointed with beautiful antiques. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, especially the ladies who take care of breakfast.
Well, I guess I could say that the shower stall was pretty small, one couldn't easily shave legs or have a two-person shower, but there was a nice old claw foot tub to make up for that.
