This hotel is on one of the busiest roads in cape town, so as such, it sounded like we were sleeping on the road- this is a far cry from the relaxing stay I had wanted. After the first night, my friend and I had to leave because.of the awful road noise which was absolutely unacceptable. Fahrenheit decided to charge me for many nights even though I only stayed for one night and had to move hotels because of the awful road noise which was far from ideal. Fahrenheit decided to use my credit card as if it was their own which is extremely unprofessional and fraudulent. After a lengthy battle with Fahrenheit they finally admitted their mistake and refunded me one night. It took a month for me to resolve this issue.with.them and get my money back. Absolutely do not stay in this hotel. You feel like you are sleeping on the.road due to the noise, and they will take money.from your credit card without permission: the staff are not to be trusted.
The staff was friendly and accommodating. The view was awesome. Great scrambled eggs
Staff were abs. kindly! Superb!
The windows, doors poor insulation. Dust, noise come in the room.
Personal attention, Good location Easy parking Nice to have a fridge Lovely garden and breakfast area outside
The room we were allocated was right next to the Kitchen which we found a little noisy. The TV selection although not important was very sparse
The view of the city is breathtaking and table mountain being that close, what more can you ask for! Amazing!
Large rooftop terrace with an amazing view over Cape Town!
Rooftop terrace was basically unfurnished; the chairs available were not really comfortable. Room towards the road was a little noisy.
The friendliest and most helpful house staff I have met in my 6 visits to Cape Town. Well appointed and spacious bedrooms. Easy access to any part of the City.
I found the road noise intrusive at certain times, but am accustomed to living in a very remote area
The room and the breakfast was were quite good. I also enjoyed service by the staff, as that was very good.
The parking is not ideal.
The staff were very friendly and efficient
I had the room next to the main entrance and I was awaken by the bell and noises quite early in the morning.
The owner is so helpful and friendly, he always wanted to know if we are fine and to see us happy. He even went an extra mile for us by offering his car to transport us, that was really touching.
Very accommodating staff...happy to help at all times
Second bedroom inferior to first despite same price...you can be very lucky or unlucky
I'd liked the efforts the staff made to guide me during my delayed arrival . The breakfast was very good and personalized . I've appreciated the offer of a personal transport by the manager when my taxi didn't show up.
I didn't like their question for changing room to please a regular guest who prefers my room. I refused their proposal even for a better room. I disliked their cool reaction when I've xomplained about the size and conditions of the swimming pool. In fact this is not a swimmingpool but only a jacuzzi sized and with cold-water filled bassinet and this was a very big disappointment for me because I especially marked swimmingpool in my searching on booking.com
location, location, location. Comfortable room.
No help with assistance re restaurants. Staff could not even till us how to contact directory inquires. We were not told of the amazing upstairs deck untill end of 2nd day.
The owner was very helpful and friendly, it was a pleasant stay.
The shower cold water pressure was high, so it made it difficult to set the temperature .
The staff were very friendly. The English breakfast was made very well and very tasty. The room was comfortable, clean and enjoyable. I liked the fact that there was a mini bar fridge in the room with waters etc for purchase - good idea
The water pressure of the shower was ridiculous, you couldn't have a decent one with the little amount of water coming out. The noise level of the other guests coming in and out of the front door was very irritating as we stayed at the first room and trying to get extra morning sleep was impossible as you could here everything from the scrapping of the chairs from upstairs, the front door continuously opening and making a alarm sound to people talking etc. Was definitely not a place to stay and relax.
