The natural vegetation. The staff very accommodation, made us feel at home. Very unlike the Resort.

Beautiful room and surroundings, with stunning view. Cosy atmosphere, ideal for a break away if you wish to get out of the hustle and bussle of city life. Note that thsi is the Lodge section, I think the hotel section is quite different.

I requested to book in earlier as my flight was very early and was informed that they would do their utmost best to accommodate me, off course I was quite impressed with their speedy response and eagerness to assist. I even suggested that I would pay any additional fee if necessary. However, when I arrived even 3 hours later than I first suggested there was no effort made whatsoever, none at all. It was as if they never even send me the e-mail in which they committed to assisting. I think the room was only ready after 2pm that afternoon. Extremely disappointed. Furthermore their lunch and dinner menu do not really accommodate people with a gluten and wheat allergy/intolerance. A few months ago I stayed at a Hotel/Resort in Zanzibar the service was impeccable and when I enquired about meals not containing wheat or gluten they even flew in gluten free flour to prepare bread and pizza for me if needed. I think experiencing service of that quality, made me expect a lot more from a 5 Star Hotel. I would still recommend the hotel but was extremely disappointed; it did not live up to my expectations.

The best features of this stay were the setting, an idyllic beach and forest setting with plenty of natural beauty, and the quality of the food. Staff were very attentive and responsive. Beds were extremely comfortable and the Victorian bath is wonderful! Afternoon tea was of a very high quality, as were dinner and breakfast.

The room service was poor, we had to phn more than once on several occassions to get something delivered or fixed. The room service food was very poor. The airconditioning heat option didnt work. The hair dryer didnt work. The TVs were very old and the remotes didnt work. Quite a few of the over head lights didnt work. The floor under the bed was very dirty.The impression given was lack of attention to detail

The setting and the beach area was fantastic. The room was also very well done.

The food was average and no chocolate on the pillow in the evening was a little dissapointing. Our neighbour smoking on thier balcony didn't enhance the ambience for us.

Grandiose decor and well set out interior design.

No view from the balcony, totally obstructed by huge trees, palms etc , felt claustrophic. Found that having to get golf carts to get to parking, to reception, for further transport to the beach limiting to independence.

i enjoyed the transport arrangements. the rooms were lovely and comfortable and well equipped. we felt like we were outside the country.THe weather was very poor and it did not affect our mood.

Di fatto la spiaggia e l'oceano non sono fruibili, bagno solo in piscina. la città dista 45 km e non ci sono collegamenti se non l'auto dell'hotel, per tre giorni va bene ma oltre rischia di essere noioso. non ci sono taxi, solo auto dell'hotel, care, a me non hanno rilasciao ricevuta, perdendo così il diritto al rimborso dell'azienda
