Located in Walmer, the 4-star Forest Hall offers elegantly decorated self-catering rooms with patios overlooking the garden. Just 10 km from the beach, it features an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi. Forest Hall’s rooms are decorated with wooden furniture, carpeted floors and ceiling fans. Each room has a satellite TV, a DVD player and bathrobes. Some of the rooms have a free standing bath tub. Guests can start their day with a rich breakfast buffet, before relaxing in the large garden with the benches. Home cooked dinners are also offered on request. The guest house’s staff can arrange tours and trips to Addo Elephant National Park, Jeffrey's Bay, Cape St Francis, Storms River and Plettenberg Bay. There is also a golf course just across the street. Port Elizabeth Airport is 5 km away, and Forest Hall Guest House offers an airport shuttle service. Extremly friendly and helpful hosts, outstanding historical location with a private park and pool area, very good breakfast, African-styled rooms with a small kitchen and bathrom are nice and clean. For a family like us with two kids, the rooms could are a little big small.

I had a lovely welcome and I felt at home immediately. I was left to myself but knew that there was always someone competent on hand. My room was vast and very comfortable. It was very peaceful. Although on a quiet road the location is very convenient and it is quite true that most places in pe can be reached in 10-15 by car. I stayed for 12 nights and the time flew by. I hope to return. It would be churlish in the extreme to make any complaint at all.

Die liebevolle, warmherzige Art der Hotelbesitzer. Hilary und James waren sehr spontan, lösungsorientiert und haben mir persönlich einen ganz speziellen Urlaub gestaltet. Die wunderschönen Ausflüge, die vom Gäste Haus überlegt wurden, werden mir immer in ganz besonderer Erinnerung bleiben. Der nur 1wöchige Aufenthalt ist zu meinen Favoriten geworden. Die charmante Einrichtung hat mich auch persönlich sehr angesprochen. Das ganze Grundstück mit dem himmlichen Garten und Pool hat eine wirklich beruhigende Ausstrahlung. Ich kann Forest Hall mit bestem Wissen weiterempfehlen.
