This accommodation has an amazing view and the facilities are excellent, Mark was also so friendly and helpful.
one of three cottages with views to woodlands. Theme casual, old furniture, like a old family holiday cottage. Fab view from the two person bath and outside warm shower. Peace and quiet. Mark, the owner very relaxed.
Mark's instructions to get to cottage difficult to follow. His welcome letter is the same. This accommodation is not really an option if you need access to wifi- info says available in office however it is not an open office space and you have to sit outside or in your car to access internet. Very uncomfortable sofa and armchairs Could do with instructions for using TV/Sky.
The location is the best thing about this place, being in a secluded area with an amazing view. The staff also understand the need for peace and quiet and the place we had had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.
That we couldn't stay longer. :) There is really nothing I can think of, it delivers on what it promises.
The view, the fireplace and the huge bath!
Couldn't get the shower to work.
Our perception and expectations created by the on-line site were not disappointed. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - Marius and Michelle, Port Elizabeth
The place is just magic. You have all the comforts that you need right there.
Can't think of anything.
The view from the balcony and bath, comfortable, bit out of town so very peaceful. Would stay again!
Tranquil setting, beautiful views, comfortable and clean accommodation but, and this is a very big BUT (see what I didn't like before you book)
We stayed for 2 nights. If I had read the welcome literature on the night of arrival as opposed to the next evening I would have most certainly sought alternative accommodation. The owner of the property is clearly very religious (Christian). The painting above the bed contained a religious quote and his welcome letter was littered with Christian references but the thing I found most upsetting was the statement wherein he referred to gay people and expressed the view, that to be gay was wrong. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but if you are renting your property out to the public who are paying money to stay there then you should definitely not share your religious or social views with them. If you feel so strongly then you should mention this in the description so people know beforehand. I am surprised that no one else has mentioned this in their reviews or complained to booking.com. I have a gay cousin and found the literature extremely hurtful and offensive. I couldn't imagine how someone would feel if they had booked to stay and were from another faith or even more so, gay. So whilst the accommodation and setting was nice I would never go back there.
Stunning quiet place with an amazing view. Great place for a quiet relaxing holiday. Not far from the local town if you do feel like a night out.
